Response to Prayer.
Last week I filled you in on the back story of how the prayer meeting got started in Prescott, along with a few mandates and decrees that we're making on behalf of our city. So far here's the response to us praying.
Last Friday morning after prayer, Pastor Jerry asked if we could add something to our list. The more the man spoke, the more excited I got. I mean by time he was finished telling us what's coming up, I was grinning from ear to ear!
On Monday, February 27, 2017 the Prescott Ministers Alliance had a meeting. One of their topics was about how to get the Ekklesia, the Body as a whole, together in unity to see change in our community. So they came up with a Prayer March! And the whole time I'm grinning, and almost in tears because I know without a doubt, that God is hearing our prayers, and God is doing a work in Prescott, and we know that it's a direct response to prayer.
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:18-20 NIV
First Baptist, Central Baptist, Munn's Chapel, First Assembly of God, CME, Methodist, UPC, Park Baptist, Macedonia Baptist, & 2 Nazerene churches, are included in the Prescott Ministers Alliance. We will all meet at the courthouse in unified prayer. We will March the main roads in Prescott,
HWY 67, HWY 371, HWY 24, & HWY 19. We will then gather at the Prescott Highschool Football Field!! Oh, and did I mention that this will take place on May 20th?! Yeah, that's right, May 20th, MY BIRTHDAY!! Hahahaha God has a sense of humor for sure!!!
Later that night, we went to a Burn Texarkana service. They had brought in Daniel Norris, who is on tour with Charisma, and the Trail of Fire. Which started from the book that he wrote, Trail of Fire; True Stories From Ten of the Most Powerful Moves of God.
As he begins to brief us on this book, he starts out with how a revival started from 2 ladies praying and interceding for their community.
"There is a cost to see a move of God - more than prayer, or rearranged schedules or agendas. It's total and complete surrender to the Lordship of Jesus."
"Revival will always bring eternity into view."
"Revival doesn't come because we were interested in it; it comes because someone was burdened for it."
"God is not looking for another church; He's looking for one church."
"Revival is costly and is never convenient. We bend to it; it does not bent to us."
"Revival comes as a response. It is heavens answer to the sustained cries and petitions of God's people."

So break free from the dull, dry routines of religion and be a catalyst for Revival.
