Kid Approved ✔ Hoagie Pizza
One of the things I really want to do this upcoming year is to add more meals or cooking styles to what I already have going. The other day I found myself on the food side of YouTube. I was watching a video on how to cook 150 meals for like $50🤑 Anyway one of the meals she showed was personal pan pizzas using hoagie buns, and they looked delicious, so on my next grocery store trip I grabbed some stuff to make them for my family!
These personal pan hoagie pizzas were a total hit in my house! I cut them into 3's marking them like finger foods, and I only got 2 little pieces!😅 My girls said they were "bussin bussin bussin"... In kid talk, that means really really good!!😂
If you've been following along for too long you'll know that I rather enjoy a simple stress free life. That includes cooking for my family, and this pizza recipe is no different.
What you need:
- Hoagie buns (whatever size you want)
- Marinara
- Mozzarella cheese
- Pepperoni
- Anything else you like on your pizza!
After you pre-heat your oven to 450° Start Building Your Pizzas! This is so easy that you can let your kiddos make their own, and it won't hurt a thing. Where I made these like "appetizers", they can very easily be made as the meal.
- Cut the hoagie buns in half (I had a pck of 4, making 8 individual pizzas.
- Spread on a generous amount of marinara as a base for your pizzas.
- Start layering up your pizzas however you want them!! I did mozzarella, pepperoni, mozzarella!
- Once you have your pizzas how you want them, throw them in the oven for 7-10 minutes (every oven is different so you'll need to keep an eye on them).
