Summer LBD In The Fall // Fall Fashion
Even though its Technically fall right now, here in the panhandle, it still feels like summer. With Hurricane Michael that just hit, the temps did drop a smidge. Which got me thinking, holy moly eventually it is going to actually feel like fall. So I started looking through my closet to get some fall outfit ideas. You know, in case I needed to order something! 🙄🤣 In that process I came across this little black dress that I got this past summer, and tried to figure out how I could wear it this fall season. Below are the 3 styles that I came up with.
- Dress It Down -
In any case, if you're wanting an outfit to feel more casual, add denim! 😉 This particular dress has a pretty low v-cut neckline, so I added a basic white cami underneath to cover up the girls, popped on my denim jacket, and white sneaks. This is now an outfit that can be worn basically anywhere this fall!

- Dress It Up -
Where I dont work in corporate america, I know several of you do, and I wanted to show you how I would wear an LBD to the office. I just added a long sleeve button down over top and tied it at the waist. You could make this into so many different looks by changing out the over shirt, shoes, and bag. Since this particular dress isnt extremely short, you could button it from the waist up, and it would be appropriate for church!

And finally I wanted to show you a more skandy date night look. Definitely would not recommend wearing this to church!! 😳🤣 Adding denim will make you look more casual. Adding heels will make you look more dressy. Adding over the knee boots and a leather jacket will make your man look!! 😉

I'm 100% positive that you could create way more looks than I did, but this is what I had to work with. Like I've always said, look at your collection, see what you have, then see what can be swapped out and mixed around.
