How To: Style A Sweater Vest // Fashion
These first few pics may look familiar, that's because they were in last week's Neutrals For Fall post! While I was getting shots for that, I was inspired to do this one!! As most of you who follow fashion know, the sweater vest has made its comeback. So I'm here to share a few different ways that you can style this piece with items that you probably already have in your closet.
Look #2 You can always opt for a turtleneck!! Cause you know ya girl loves a turtleneck!! This makes the outfit lean more dressy-casual. So it's still very appropriate for the office. I styled this look with a pair of straight leg brown dress pants, nude pumps, & a beige bag. You could also swap out the pumps for a pair of nice flats / loafers, it really depends on the style of your pants.
The Review This sweater vest is way cute and as you've seen above, it can be styled many ways. It is thin so I'm not sure why it's considered a "sweater' vest?... For reference I'm 5'5, roughly 150lbs, & 34b bust. I went with the small because I knew how I wanted to style it. It fits great, even layered over my other tops. This comes in 21 different color / pattern combos. Amazon changes their prices sometimes, but at the moment the price is between $17 & $19.

Look #1 The best way, in my opinion, is to style the vest over a crisp white button-down. By doing this you've automatically made the whole outfit lean to the dressy side of the spectrum. And of course you can absolutely go with another color button-down, it all depends on the vest itself. I styled this look with a pair of straight leg khaki dress pants, nude pumps, and a tan bag.
Look #3 And last but not least, the casual look! I kept the button-down and ditched the khakis for a pair of distressed demin, tan suede booties, a baker boy hat, & a puffer jacket. The distressed denim and puffer jacket kicks us to the casual side of the spectrum, but we still look nice and fashionable!
