🍇 Charcuterie Board 101

📌 PIN IT, PIN IT, PINT!!📌 Hosting a Couples Valentine OR a Gal-Pal Galentine party?! All your guests will need to bring is their favorite 🍾 wine, because you will have the food covered!! 🍇 For my peeps who want to learn how to create a charcuterie board that everyone will love, then you'll want to save this post for sure. I'm going to break down and explain what I do and show you just how easy it is to create a beautiful yet delicious charcuterie board! And I promise this will not take long at all!!

For starters, like any gathering, you'll need to know roughly about how many people are going to be there. This way you will have enough food without going overboard. (As an example I'm going to use this particular one that I put together this past Christmas.) I knew that we were going to have 10 people; 6 adults & 4 kids. I also knew that lunch wasn't going to be ready until around 2pm and I didn't want everyone starving nor did I want them getting full on picky bits!😅 So I kept it pretty small and fairly basic.

The next step is figuring out what to put on the board... I like to use the acronym KISS... Keep It Simple Stupid!! (Meaning... just get what you like.. I'm sure the majority of your guests are going to like it too...) With that, we really like the pre-made snack trays from Hormel. My favorite is the smoked turkey one, but there are several different combos to choose from. You can always go searching throughout the store for all these pieces individually, but then again I'm keeping it as simple as possible, so I grabbed 2 of these. Then I picked up strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and grapes; all of which my kids like.

Now for the setup! There really is no wrong way of doing this. You can make this as extravagant or as basic as you'd like; you just have to let your creative juices flow. I like starting in the center and working my way outward. I also like starting with the crackers & cheese first. If you have a bowl with some type of dip, you should probably start with that. After I get the cheese, crackers, and turkey in place I'll move on to the strawberries. I feel like since they're bigger, it's easier to work around them. When it comes to the grapes, I like keeping them in a cluster, it adds a little drama! Then I filled in the gaps with the blackberries & blueberries. (After I put the board together I decided to add some green olives and dill pickles.)

And it turned out beautifully!! It did not last long either!!😅 That's all I have for you today,  hope I've given a little inspiration for your upcoming soiree!! If I did inspire you in any way, would you please tag me or use #KrystalBlogs 😃 I'd love to see what you come up with!!
