2022 Trends 👗 Spring Edit

Now that we're well on our way to Sping, I think it's time that we start prepping our closets for the next season! Spring is such a beautiful time of the year with all the flowers and trees birthing new life right infront of our sight. In today's post I'll be sharing a handful of trends that we'll be seeing everywhere for the next few months to come! There's a lot that I'm really diggin, some I like but I'll have to tweak, then some I think I'll have to pass on altogether...

Oversized Bright Blazers!!💗 I honestly didn't think I'd have this piece in time for this post! I found this Hot Pink blazer on the EXPRESS website and I had to get my hands on it! I sized up to a large to achieve the oversized look. When this set popped up in my IG feed as a sponsored ad, I was in love!

Bright & Bold Colors 💗 As I've mentioned several times, I'm on some type of pink journey at the moment, so of course my Bold and Bright color of choice is PINK! However, there are several other colors of the rainbow that you can choose from. Just find the one you feel most comfortable & confident in, and run with it!!

Micro Mini Skirts! We already know how I feel about a good Mini! You can read up on that here. However, feeding more into the Y2K trend, the 6in. micro mini is back. Back in my younger years, yes absolutely I wore these. However, today at 35 with 3 kiddos, I don't see myself playing much in this trend. I'll stick with my traditional mini skirt!

Platforms / Lugsole Lugsoles were mainly last years trend, but they're still hanging in there. Platforms are already huge this year. Personally, I don't own a single pair of platforms because they're not really my style. So I'll continue wearing my lugsole boots from last season!😅

Interesting Fabrics 👗 Liquid Metallics, Sheer, Lightweight Knits... all of which I will not be jumping on board with!😉

Lastly, and probably most importantly, DO NOT buy a thing until you shop your own closet first!!! You really never know what treasures are hidden away that you may have forgotten about since last spring.
