Hey y'all, and happy Friday! As we walk through this journey we call life, something is always bound to happen. It doesn't matter if everything is seeming perfect, there's always that one area where things could be better. The way that we handle those situations will determine our outcome.
I have been a stay at home mom for 7 years now, but I was in the workplace for 8 years before that. And I can think back on certain situations that I know for a fact that I could have handled differently. Better. Now, many years later, I'm like, crap... if I could go back and change the way I reacted to those situations, I would in a heartbeat!
If you have to write these down on a sticky note or save this post for future reference, do it. Because I have put together 3 thoughts that I believe can help you through that situation. These are not ground breaking by no means, but it is nice to have a small reminder everyday, that you can and will get through it.
3. Embrace the fear and go for it. When I first started blogging 3 years ago, I was scared. To be completely honest, I had initially wanted to start blogging years prior, but I didn't know exactly how to go about starting one. On this "Blogger" platform, it shows that I started my account in 2013...😳 RIGHT?! If I hadn't allowed the fear of people's thoughts to control what I did, then this year would've made 6 years of blogging for me. All I'm saying is, if you're in a situation where you want to do something, but you're scared of what people will think of you, PUSH THROUGH IT!!! Don't let the opinions of man control your life.
3. Be kind! Being kind doesn't cost anything, its absolutely free! This is one that I struggle with. Not because I'm not a kind person. I have a kind heart, a giving heart, a serving heart. My struggle is that I have attitude and I'm loud, and when you mix the two together, it's not a good thing. By me being sassy, it negates the fact that I am a kind hearted person. So this is the area that I personally struggle with, but I am only human. Just like you, I have my shortcomings. Since I am aware of my attitude, that is something that I have to work on every single day.
I love you guys. I really hope this will help someone today. I hope to see yall back here next week!
