Smashbox - Influenster
Good morning to all you beautiful people!! Today's post is a product review on a product that i recieved from free from Influenster. As I've mentioned many, many times, Influenster is a company that sends out products to people like me, to test out and review. I have been with Influenster for a little over a year now, and I really enjoy it. This campaign was all about the Super Fan Fanned-Out Mascara from Smashbox!
Smashbox Super Fan Fanned-Out Mascara will amplify your eyes with super volume, super length, and super lift! Super Fan gives you a modern, fanned out look without any clumping or heaviness. The 360° precision brush catches every last lash. It's like a wind machine for your lashes.
What Smashbox claims:
- Buildable volume, length and lift that lasts 12 hours.
- No clumping, smudging or flaking.
- Reaches top and bottom lashes - even in the corners of your eyes.
Now my thoughts:
- If you try to build it, it looks like tarantula legs, it does lengthen, lift, and lasts 12+ hours.
- The only time it clumps is when you add more coats. It does not smudge after it has dried down, and it's not flaky!
- It gets EVERY lash that you have, top and bottom!
Where I do agree with 90% of their claims, I do feel like they left out that it is a very wet formula. I've been using this mascara everyday for the past 3 weeks, and I'm just now getting to where I don't get it everywhere. You have to be extremely careful while applying, otherwise you will get it all over the place. I had to coat the top lashes first and try my best to not open my eyes too wide, or close them too tight, while they dried. Then I was able to do the bottom lashes. Other than that, I feel like this is a fabulous mascara. They left my lashes looking very full and beautiful. I personally wouldn't purchase it though.
