A New Thing.
Today is officially the first day of Spring Break, which means no alarm clock for 10 whole days, woohoo!!! Spring is probably my favorite of all the seasons. Every year when Spring rolls around, I can't help but think of pastals, soft neutrals, lace, and strappy heels. Oh how I've missed the days of tan legs, pedicures, and french manicures.

However, I also can't help but think of how prophetic Springtime is. Not only does Spring mean that we're in a new season, it also means that Winter is over. It's a fresh start, the old is gone, the new has come. With a single breath of the crisp air, it makes you want to be in nature, enjoying the creation, admiring the creator.
Throughout the scriptures God is constantly doing something new, and I wanted to share a few with you. Be encouraged as God speaks to you with words of life, in this new season:
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here.
Isaiah 43:19
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not percieve it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
Lamentations 3:22-23
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning, great is your faithfulness.
Ezekiel 11:19
I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
Colossians 3:9-10
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with it's practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of it's creator.
Revlation 21:5
He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."
Isaiah 40:31
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not be faint.
