Summer Nights // Family Game Night

Yesterday was a super busy day here in the Chenault household. Our daughter Lillian turned 7, so she had some friends come over to help her celebrate! After everyone left we had a lot of food leftover, so I figured why not put it to double use and have a Family Game Night!! So I got to work swapping out the "birthday" decor, for a more basic "game night" appropriate decor. 🤣

Gavin pulled the games out, then we had to choose which one to play.... 🤦🏼‍♀️ Having 3 kids all wanting to play different games was a nightmare. So, I pulled the mom card, and made the executive decision to play UNO!! We played like 7 rounds and didn't get to sleep til after midnight.

We literally ate so much "bad" food last night, but it was totally worth it. I'm not the one that buys a lot of junk food or sodas, but I feel like it's ok to treat my kids once a week with things that they dont get everyday.

Anyways guys that's how we spent our Family Game Night! Overall we had a lot of fun, and have already started talking about how to implement a game night more regularly! I hope yall have an awesome weekend!!
