Good Vibrations.
Sometimes it's hard to put off good vibes. On long days, when you're not your best, or when it's been a stressful day, and you feel like poo. Trust me, I get it, YOU COULD CARE LESS!! But you cant just walk around mad because someone pissed you off. Sometimes you have to suck it up, pull up your big girl panties, and set a positive atmosphere around you. I have nailed down some "fake it til you make it" tips that work for me, and they might work for you too.
1. Smile!
Smiles are like yawns, they're contagious! If you can smile as you pass folks in the grocery store, it'll not only help you feel better, it'll help others feel better. Did you know that some people go an entire day without smiling?! Your smile will encourage others to smile!
2. Move your body
The way you move your body says a lot about your mood. If you walk into a room with your shoulders back and your head held high, (along with that smile) it shows that you're open to friendly conversation.
3. Catch your breath
People can usually tell if you're upset about something. One dead ringer of an indication of that is how you're breathing. When we're mad or frustrated, our breaths become quick and shallow. On those long days when you're tired, you usually sigh a lot. You may not notice it, but others will, which may cause them to think you're annoyed with them. So before you walk into work or church or wherever, take a few minutes to take in deep breaths. This will help calm your heart hate and blood pressure.
4. Do what you love
When you were a kid or a teenager, did you ever have a dream? When I was a kid, I just wanted to be a dancer. So I became a Zumba Instructor! When I was a teenager, I wanted to be a model. Now through my blog, I am my own model. By doing what you love, you inspire and awaken the hearts of others. So figure out what it is that you want, and do that!!
