Color Block Holiday Outfit Under $100 // Cato Fashion
So a huge thank you goes out to Cato Fashions for partnering with me on today's post! It is such an honor to be working with a brand that I truly love, and have been shopping at for years, for the 2nd time!! 😍 So, as you may have guessed, they gave me a $100 limit to style a holiday outfit!! This years holiday colors are red, black, and white! And yall know I love me some black! 🖤 So obviously I had to go in that direction! I really wanted to feature a more trendy, while still staying true to my classic style, outfit. And I'm pretty sure I nailed it in both areas! I pulled in some of the most trending items at the moment, and combined them together to make a super fashionable look! And what are those items, you may be asking right now?! Wide leg trousers, belt bags, and berets, ya know, just to name a few!! 😉
At first I spotted this beautiful 😍 black skirt that had gold embroidered detailing on it, but they didn't have it in my size 😭... My 2nd choice was these vibrant red, wide leg pants! Yall already know how much I love a good pair of wide leg pants, I just couldn't pass these babies up! When paired with a form fitting top, and a higher waistline, it will automatically slim you up. And with them literally touching the ground, they elongate my legs so much. I'm 5'5, and look much taller in some of these photos! I knew as soon as I took them off the rack, that I wanted a black turtleneck to go with them. They had 1 still available in my size, so it worked out perfectly!
I'm not sure if yall remember a blog post that I wrote almost a year ago, about the return of the fanny pack! (You can read that here) But they kinda are still having a moment. You can find them just about everywhere, in many colors and textures. I found this really cute faux leather one with pearl embellishments! It looks so snazzy with the quilted texture and gold zipper! This little guy was only $10!
I wanted to save my absolute favorite til last! Like with my first partnership, I went online immediately to see what all was available, so that I wouldn't be completely clueless while in the store. The first thing that caught my eye were these stunning black embellished slingback kitten heels!! 😍 They give all the Carrie Bradshaw vibes!! 😍 But besides the fact that they're gorgeous, with them being a kitten heel, I can actually wear them for long periods of time. That is something that us flat footed gals can appreciate! And they are so affordable at only $25!!
The pieces that I chose can be worn separately, which makes them fit perfectly with my collection. This outfit can quite literally be worn anywhere; holiday gatherings, church, and even to the office! I really hope you guys enjoyed today's post
