The Correct Way To Build Up A Woman // Encouragement

With me putting out an article or a blog post every week, I literally have to have something to talk about every week. For the most part, I'd say it's pretty easy to come up with something no matter the topic, simply because I love doing this. Right now I have 36 posts sitting in my drafts, and where you'd think I could just pull one of those and sometimes I do, because that's what they're there for. Other times it's such a struggle to come up with something,  anything, that's worth putting pen to paper.📝

Then there are those times when I'm down to merely hours from having literally nothing, but God! Lol But God, drops something in my spirit, where I no longer have to worry about it. It's like I get hit with the script anointing and  I have to stop what I'm doing and just start writing. It is truly amazing when that happens. Which is what happened with todays topic of The Correct Way To Build Up A Woman! It's more like "what not to do mixed with friendship" really!!😅

God created women for a reason, and no, not just to have babies... 🙄... Women are so strong that we can withstand so much more than a man could ever dream. God created us to be supportive and compassionate, and nurturing. We're the ones who are to cover our marriage, children, and household with prayer. We are designed to literally carry the burdens of our friends and be there in times of need, AND to celebrate one another in lifes' endeavours. Which is why I cannot comprehend why it's so hard to be supportive. And I mean truly, wholeheartedly, supportive of one another. It actually blows my mind.

So with all of that said, I have put together a few things to think about moving forward. As always everything that I say is backed by scripture! 📖

1. Stop Talking About One Another! Did you know that God hates gossip??😳 Like wow... He HAAAATTTEEEESSSSS gossip! Hate is a very strong word!! You know the phrase, "if it's not nice, don't say it"? That applies here. If you're not uplifting the woman that you're talking about, keep it to yourself. Better yet, give it to God, He'll know what to do with it!

"Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
Psalms 15:3.....
.....Such people will stand firm forever."
Psalms 15:5

2. Stop undermining one another! If you're intentionally throwing someone under the bus to raise yourself, your heart is full of wickedness. I think the worst kind of "friend" is one who claims to be your friend, when in all actuality they're your enemy.💥 This is where discernment comes into play, which is why it's important to stay prayed up! 🙏🏻

"But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness."
Romans 1:18

"The Lord your God will inflict all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate and persecute you."
Deuteronomy 30:7

3. Piggy-backing from the above 👆🏻 If you cant be truly happy for someone else's success, then you don't deserve their friendship. You should probably stop being their friend because low-key you're already not their friend, they just don't know it yet. 😬... ouch... The word says that a friend sticks closer than a brother 👈🏻 Those are the women that you want in your life. Someone who will pray for you daily. Someone who will only give you godly counsel. Someone who will point you to Jesus. I remember several, several years ago, Stephen and I were not in a good place in our marriage at all. I was at work one day and one of my fellow preschool teacher friends, brought me an article from her daily devotional. With a heartfelt plea, she said, "I felt like I was supposed to give this to you. Please read it." And gosh y'all, I am so thankful for that, and for her allowing God to use her in that moment.

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
John 13:34‭-‬35

Ladies, that is the correct way to build up another woman. Those are the kind of friends, the kind of women we should all strive to be like. I hope this has encouraged you today! If this bears witness with you, please share it with your friends!
