2020 Spring Trends That I Can Get Down With
For the most part, my personal style is geared towards a more classic style. However, I love to play with fashion and dabble in current trends. A lot of times I don't like what's trending at the moment, so I'll just leave it out of my wardrobe all together. Usually there are only 1 or 2 trends every season that I can actually get down with, but this Spring there are quite a few that I really like. So I wanted to share with you which trends you'll see me wearing in Spring 2020!
What I will be wearing in Spring 2020!
Neon!! With me having a fair skintone, I really have to watch which neon colors I go with. My personal favorite is neon pink! I like the others as well, I just think that the pink is the more subtle neon! Lol Does that even make sense really?!!😅
Tiers!! Yes, I'm here for it! I LOVE the tier skirts and dresses! They are so girly and feminine and remind me of Carry Bradshaw prancing around New York City without a care in the world!
Hot Pants!! 😂 Sorry I have to laugh at the name! Yes Hot Pants! Referring to short shorts! My NeNe called short shorts "Hot Pants" I've always called them Booty Shorts 🍑 But apparently they're instyle at the moment. I honestly never knew they weren't! I wear them at home all the time. The only public places I wear them is the beach or to the pool, and I recommend you do the same!
Bermuda Shorts!! And at the other end of the spectrum, we have Bermuda Shorts. I like them too, especiallywith them being more of a trouser style! And they offer another option to shorts that aren't Hot Pants!!😅
Polka Dots!! Who doesn't love Polka Dots?! I mean seriously, they're the cutest! Now, I dont like the colorful polka dots, only the black and white versions!
Vests!! Ok so, I like vests. I already have a few in my closet, but these vests are more business style, which I really really like. This is definitely on my must get list!
What I won't be wearing in Spring 2020!
60's Wallpaper Print. I love how trends circle around, but some should be left in the past. I am quite literally stripping wallpaper out of my house, because the print is so hideous. WHY are they putting these prints on clothes for people to walk the streets in?!🙈🙉🙊
70's Collar. Same goes for this trend.. it's a hard no for me!
Bra Tops. The only way I could wear a bra top, is if I'm wearing it to the beach, because its basically a bikini top🤷🏼♀️ NOT to be worn in a public place.
Crochet Dresses. I caught myself looking through all the crochet options in the upcoming fashion pieces, and I just cant see myself wearing it... it looks so itchy, like I would probably break out in hives if I were to put it on my body 😳
Spring Leather. Absolutely not! I love the freshness that spring colors bring, but not in leather. This is one that I'll be skipping this year as well!
Feathers. Kinda going with the crochet reasoning here, I just cant see myself wearing feathers in public. Keep them in Vegas people!!
