At Home Date Night
This is what, my 4th or 5th post that's a direct result of covid 19... I wonder how much longer I can go...🤔.... Considering that Stephen and I had to celebrate our 11 year wedding anniversary, AT HOME, I thought now would be a good time to give a few "at home date night" ideas!! I mean, why not? Right? Its not like we can go do anything.
I am completely aware that not everyones living conditions are the same, so I did try to keep that in mind while writing this out. If I mention something here that you can't do, improvise! Quality one on one time with your spouse is SO important, even with all the mess going on around us.
I know what some of you are saying at this point, "but Krystal, I have kids....", yeah me too, I have 3!! Cook them a frozen pizza and turn on a movie... well thats what I do anyways!! 😅 Listen girlfriend, sometimes you have to be intentional. Get up, wash your 4 day old, dry shampoo'd 💁🏼♀️hair. Get that makeup lookin snatched!!💋 Put on something that makes you feel glamorous 💃🏼 and meet your man on the back patio, or porch, or backyard, or wherever!
-Grill and Chill. This is probably my most favorite thing to do at home. Personally I love to cook, I love to eat, and I love to eat my own cooking!!😅
-Take a drive down an old back road and drop the tailgate!
-Slow dance in a parking lot! <--- font="">
-Build a bon fire.
-Cook a new dish, or your favorite dish together!
-Watch a new movie. We can't go to the movie theater right now, so spend a couple bucks and get a pay-per-view movie.
I know this was short and sweet,, but whatever it is that y'all love doing together, do it. Don't neglect Date Night, it's essential!! I really hope I have inspired someone today. Thank you so much for being here!!
