Krystals Kitchen // Nacho Pizza
A couple weeks ago I was sent a can of Goya Vegan Refried Beans to test out and review, which is what inspired today's post! So I hope y'all enjoy this kid friendly, SUPER EASY, and pretty quick recipe that I'm about to share with yall today!! Honestly yall probably already make this the same as me, but I digress!
My kids would probably eat tacos, or some variation of the kind, at least 3 times a week so this worked out perfectly. I actually had full intentions of cooking Mexican Pizza, but Lillian asked specifically for nachoes, so here we are making a Nacho Pizza!!
- 3 lbs. ground beef
- a lot of shredded cheese
This was actually my first time making nachoes this way, but I'm pretty sure it won't be the last!😅 And of course you can add all the other toppings like tomatoes, peppers, blah blah blah...
Now on to the Vegan Goya Refried Beans! Let me start by saying, I'm not a "vegan" I only understand a small bit about it. But what little I do know... wouldn't beans already be "vegan"??... lol Beans are grown from the ground and are no way an animal product. Forgive me if I'm missing something here, but why the need to label the can "vegan"? Right?!!

Please keep in mind we're a family of 5, so you would obviously tweak this to suit you / yours.🙃 You can make this as authentic as you'd like, I'm not about that life so I stick with the packaged stuff!! Use your favorite brands in this as well, there's really no wrong way here.
- 1 full bag of corn chips
- Taco seasoning
- a lot of shredded cheese
- Oven 350° for 5 minutes
As far as the product goes, they literally taste like any other can of refried beans. I added salt & pepper for flavoring. Then I also made a separate bowl of cheese dip and put about half the can of beans in it, to make my own version of a cheesey bean dip!🤤 Even though they're labeled as vegan, I see no difference compared to one's that aren't.
