Today we're talking makeup!! 😍 Before the move I paused my Ipsy subscription, but now SHE'S BACK!! Woohoo!!🎉 And this one is pretty exciting because it's makeup heavy 😃 And those are my fave!!
First up we have an eyeshadow palette from Half Caked. Adorable packaging, it looks like a Floppy Disk! I'm a nude girl, so the colors were right up my alley. The mattes are not very pigmented, but you can build them. And they do blend nicely. The shimmers are very pretty, they work best when applied with a finger! Retails for $16
Third up in my bag was a blush from ORYZA. With the ombre situation going on, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to blend it all together, so I did! Lol And it packed a punch!! I was like.. 😳... clown city over here y'all! I had to work extra hard to tone it down!!😂 So if you end up getting this for yourself, you've been warned!! I've been wearing this everyday for 2 weeks, and it hasn't broke my face out yet, so 2 thumos up on this blush!! Retails for $28
Then we have a Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm from Tula. At first I thought this was just a regular cream highlighter stick. But no! This is such a cool product, I've never seen anything like it before. Now let me preface this by saying, I'm 35 and you can definitely see the fine lines around my eyes. So when it comes to makeup, I have to be cautious to not make my eyes look dry. When that happens, it makes you look older, and we don't want that. You can use this brightening balm under your eyes, on top of your makeup to make them look more glowy and hydrated! It's truly something that every woman should try. Especially if you're my age and up! This Retails for $30
And finally we have a hand cream from Glow On 5th. I may sound a little judging with this one, hear me out.. Everything here is based around the fact that this lotion retails for nearly $40... It's a great lotion to carry in your bag or car, for those days you were in a hurry and forgot to lotion up at home. Other than that... like, it's there.. it's not your first choice.. but you'll use it if it's all you have... ya know?! The lotion itself is pretty thin, and you have to reapply often. Now, if this were a $3 or $4 travel size lotion, I probably wouldn't be so hard on it, because "you get what you pay for" right?! Please do not waste your monies on this product!! Retails for $38
OVERALL... I think this months bag was a hit! I've been using everything here for the past 2 weeks. Including the expensive but poor quality lotion. I do have a question though, have any of you ever really heard of any of these brand? Like, I've only seen then in my Ipsy bag. Just curious!! I hope y'all have an awesome day!!
