2 Transitional Essentials That You Need
I'm sure by now y'all know I'm partial to black clothing 🖤 And here's why... black goes with EVERYTHING!!! Today I'm talking specifically black leggings (yes leggings! Lol this is from a mom's perspective!😅) & a black turtleneck. If you have at least 1 black turtleneck and 1 pair of good black leggings, you can ultimately create an endless amount of looks. Please hear me, leggings are not appropriate for a lot of occasions. They are also not meant to be worn as pants, unless you're in a gym/fitness scenario.

With the leggings and a turtleneck as my base, I can now swap in and out tops, bottoms, shoes, bags, and other accessories to create different outfits, all while using these same 2 essential pieces.
Look #1 features a Sleeveless Athletic Top with a Hood. This top is lightweight. I'm wearing a medium so I'd say it fits true to size. If you wanted a more loose fit, you may want to size up. Something like this is what I would normally wear to the gym in the cooler months.
Look #2 features a Wind Breaker Jacket. I absolutely love this jacket. It's so fun and on trend with the 90's color blocking. It's not lined so this wouldn't work in super cold temps, but here in Alabama we're still hanging out in the high 70's/low 80's! This jacket is longer than showed below, but I like the more cropped look, so I pull it up to suit the style. It has a wide elastic band around the bottom that held it in place.
Look #3 features a Knitted Cardigan I ordered this in a size Large to get a more oversized fit. There are large functional buttons down the front. It looks super soft, but on a scale from 1 - 10 (10 being the softest) I'd give it a 7. It's 100% polyester so maybe that's why it's not the softest. But it will keep you warm for sure, especially if you have it layered over your black turtleneck. This is something that I'd wear at home, shopping, a casual dinner, or hanging out with friends.
