Styling A Mini Skirt // The Classy Edit

Hey guys happy Friday!!😃 It's been a good 2 months since I've spoke on anything fashion related, so I'm here to 👏🏻 SERVE 👏🏻 SOME 👏🏻 LOOKS! Today I'll be featuring an adorable mini skirt and sharing 3 different ways that I would style it, and in a classy way!

For the sake of transparency, I was gifted this mini skirt for styling and reviewing purposes. I'm an Amazon Affiliate, meaning that if you make a purchase through my links, I'll receive a tiny commission; the same as if you were to shop at a department store. As a customer you will not pay more or less.

Let's start with my #1 go to mini skirt style... Which is pairing it with a black turtleneck, a pair of black tights, black over the knee boots, & a black crossbody. Hands down, this is my favorite way to style a mini skirt! This was also the warmest of the 3 that I'm sharing today!!😅

From black to white! Here I styled it with an oversized white knit sweater, brown knee high boots, & a tan shoulder bag. Styling it this way changes the entire vibe of the skirt; it's a lot more light / casual as opposed to the edgy / dressy with the black. Alzo, you could always add a pair of skin colored tights for extra warmth, but I don't have those, sooo...🤷🏼‍♀️

Here I styled the skirt with a hunter green sweater, long tan blazer, brown booties, & a brown leather tote. As I was pulling things from my closet, I was going to use a sleeveless turtleneck that's the same color tan/beige as the skirt and blazer to go for a monochrome look, which you can totally do and it'll look awesome. But then I saw this hunter green sweater hanging there... 🤔 so I grabbed it instead! At first I wasn't sure, until I added the blazer over top of the sweater!!😍 I think with the green being so dark it really compliments the brown in the skirt, creating an earthy-toned outfit!

The Review
Overall I think the skirt is absolutely adorable and I love it! The color combo of this particular one is beautiful (there are 2 other color combinations). The slit in the front is not too high. It has a zip back and a removable tie belt. I actually thought about taking it out and using my own belts, but then I decided against that! Lol The only negative I can think of is, it's not double lined. So if that's something that bothers you, you may want to skip out on this one. At this very moment, it retails for $23.
