💤 Latest Night Time Skincare

Hey Hey!! Honestly I cannot believe that I got my Ipsy bag so early in the month...  I do have to say that I am extremely pleased with this one! They pick 2 items for your bag, and then let you choose the other 3. I really enjoy creating a bag with some type of theme that's usually based off of the 2 that the Ipsy team chose. Apparently this month is National Wellness Month, so they picked 2 skincare products. I tried to build my bag around skincare, avoiding all makeup, and it just happened to be all night time skincare. 

First item in my bag is this foaming face wash from Dew Of The God's. First off, the packaging is so fun! 2nd, the wash is actually pretty good! It leaves my face feeling clean and not dried out. It hasn't broken me out so far, and it has a nice scent, that's not overbearing. I think it's better to use this in the shower, instead of over the sink, not only because you'll make a mess, but also because I think it lathers better when your face is wet. This retails for $24. Where I think it's a nice wash, I wouldn't pay $24. I'd rather stick with my Neutrogena wipes & Dove soap! 

Second item was this Truffle Eye Serum from BYROE. If you've tried 1 eye cream, you've tried them all!! This is the 2nd pick from the Ipsy team. I use them because they come in my bags every few months, but I won't go out and purchase them. This should last me a while, because it's a huge tube. Y'all are gonna die when you see what this retails for... $114... 👀 yes, you read that right!😂 I did find it on Amazon for less than $100, (here) I also found a mini set for $32 if you wanna give it a try!

Next up is an Aloe Vera Blemish Soothing Moisturizer from Dr. Zenovia. I chose this item because I got one of their other products a few months back, so I thought I'd try out another... 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm constantly having to try new & different moisturizers because I have slightly sensitive skin, and a lot of products break me out. The one from a few months back does break my face out, but it's for both face and neck, which is what I've been using it for. We'll see how this one goes, stay posted! This retails for $38. I found it on Amazon for $15... (IPSY be lying...)

Then we have this cool little tool that I picked to use with the above moisturizer! Or any moisturizer really.. It's the COMPLEX CULTURE Sonic T-Bar Facial Massager. I went for this because I never jumped on the Jade Roller trend that was everywhere a few years ago, so I thought this was similar to that, so let's try it!! I think you're supposed to use this consistently for months before you really start seeing any type of results, so I'll have to do a separate review on this later. I do like how hefty it feels in hand though, like it feels luxe! This retails for $58... OK IPSY wasn't lying about this one!! 😅 I couldn't find this brand on Amazon, but I did find a similar product if you wanted to try it... it's $16 and it's a 2 in 1 face massager & T-Bar...

And lastly, I picked out The Word Woke Cool Steam Eye Mask.. because why not!!😂 This little kit is so cool! It comes with the freeze or heat gel packs, 3 sets of steam pouches, and an eye mask! The mask has pockets on the inside for the gel packs or steam pouches! This is probably the coolest thing I've ever gotten in an Ipsy bag!! This retails for $50. I couldn't find the steam pouches, but the gel packs and mask are here, and they're $35! I would most definitely buy this again! The gels packs are reusable, so as long as they don't bust, you could definitely get you monies worth out of this kit!! I think it would also make a great gift for birthday's or Mother's Day!!
