Whats New: Fall 2022 Fashion Trends

Hey yall!! Today I'm going to be sharing a handful of fashion trends that are coming in this Fall / Winter 2022!! If you've been around for a while then you'll know I put these articles together for y'all, so you don't have to!! So far I have noticed that several "trends" have been carried over from past seasons. Even from a couple years ago, so you may already have some of these things in your closet now, and I'd call that a win!! I tried to link as much as I could. Some of the things mentioned are years old, and are sold out, so I tried my best to find a similar item that you may be interested in!!

80's style with the big shoulders! Whether it's pads or puff, 80's style is here! Hopefully not with the Aqua Net though!!😂 I honestly don't mind a strong shoulder. Personally I don't care for the ridiculously huge shoulders; they're just not that practical and they make your head look oddly tiny...😬😂 This blue / white striped button-down with the puff sleeves is so beautifully made! I left the cuffs undone for a more "cool girl" vibe! I paired it with jeans and a tan bag (similar), and a pair of tan suede pointy toe booties (similar)!! You could definitely wear this with dress slacks or a skirt for the office. 

Black Shimmer, Shine, & Sequins, and I'm here for it!! Y'all already know that the majority of my go to's are 🖤 black!! I took a black dress (similar) thats extremely short and put this adorable sequin skirt (similar) over it, combining 3 trends in 1, (all black, sequins, & puff shoulders!). Carrying on with shiny things!!😅 I styled this with a pair of black / crystal strappy heels (similar), a metallic clutch (similar), and then a pair of boss babe sunnies (similar) for a little drama!! FYI... Metallics are also having a moment!😉

Bold, Bright, & Color Blocking!  I don't own many color blocking items at the moment, but I did just put in an order for a few pieces, so I'm super excited about that!! However, I do love the concept of mixing & matching different bright bold colors together. Where I mentioned that I have a love for black clothing, I am trying my best to add color into my closet. And I think these trends are going to help me accomplish that! I just love this fun, high-waisted patchwork skirt, and all of its beautiful colors! I paired it with a bright pink crop top, a pair of pink strappy heels (similar) and a fun purple satin bag! I love how I can pull out every color from this skirt and make it work!!

Sheer! I think Sheer is one of those fabrics that will always be in fashion! I love this aqua blue sheer button-down is so elegant! I love the pop of color against the white accents!!

Barbie Pink Mania!💗 I think this speaks for itself!!😅 I've been in a "pink phase" for like 9 months at this point!! I've been yelling PINK PINK PINK for months..... It's here, and I couldn't be more happy!!💗 I bought this 3 piece outfit from Express probably 6 months ago. I love how you can mix & match all the pieces, or wear them as a full on monochrome look!

Maxi Dresses & Skirts. Maxis are not my favorite go to, but they are perfect for the modest among us. I like wearing these to church since they are more conservative. This navy blue polka dot dress is my favorite. It gives me Pretty Woman vibes! The floral dress is a one size fits all dress, and it's so flattering on!

Jackets! Bombers, Trenches, Robe Coats, Cropped, Oversized leather... I mean... every style of outerwear seems to be trending right now!! Lol

Wife Beaters! (is that what they're still called?!!😂 Y'all know exactly what I'm talking about! Now, I probably won't be making a Target Run to snatch up a Hanes tank anytime soon, but I'm not opposed to a good white tank top. I think they're great for almost any occasion. Especially when you use them as a layering piece!
