🌱 Leafinty

As most of you know, I've been working on living a more sustainable 🌱 conscious lifestyle. (If not, it was 1 of my New Year Resolutions!😉) I'm not there yet, and I'm learning new things constantly. It's definitely proven to be a learning process, and taking baby steps along the way. Like swapping to a bar shampoo, instead of using products that come in plastic bottles, which is what Leafinty offers.

Leafinty so kindly offered to send me a 💜 purple shampoo and conditioner to test out and review! I found this so fascinating, I had never used a bar shampoo & conditioner before, so I had to agree to try it. In today's Beauty Installment, I'll be sharing my own thoughts and experiences, along with a few tid bits from their website!


A little background on 🌱Leafinty!
The brand started with the simple question; "How can we reduce the consumption of plastic in our daily personal care necessities?"  After being sick & tired, and just over all the cluttered up plastic bottles under the cabinets, they created high performing beauty bars. That are good for you and the planet!

As I mentioned earlier, I was sent the 💜 purple shampoo and conditioner, which is meant for people who have blond hair. Whether that be for you silver queens, for the bleach blonde babes, or the natural blonde like myself. They also offer shampoo / conditioners for your regular everyday use as well; i.e. dry, oily, sensitive, dandruff....

I normally tone my hair twice a week, Sundays and Wednesdays. Since receiving this particular set, I've replaced my normal purple shampoo that I've been using for decades at this point. The Leafinty bars seem to have the same effect on my natural golden-locks!💁🏼‍♀️


How To Use
The bar system is no different than the other. After your hair is wet, you can either rub the bar directly on your hair or lather the bar in your hands. Not gonna lie, it was kinda strange the first time I used the bar system. (I really didn't know what to expect..) But it lathered in my hair just the same as my regular shampoo. Rinse repeat, move on to the conditioner, and follow the same steps from above!

- Cruelty-free body care.

- Clean natural ingredients. 

- Each bar is equivalent to 3 "bottles". (which blew my mind.)

- Suitable for all skin types.

- Sustainable packaging (no plastic bottles.).
