Fresh Face // January Ipsy Glambag
Hey yall, happy fri-yay!! 😃 I have received my January Ipsy bag!! I don't know why, but I always get so excited about these! At this point most people already know all about Ipsy, but for those who do not; Ipsy is a $10 a month, makeup subscription. You get 5 sample size products with at least 1 being a full size. And it all comes in a little makeup bag!
First up is a skin balancing mask from GOLDFADEN MD. I'm pretty sure I've never tried anything from this brand. This mask helps get rid of dark under eye circles and brightens the entire face. It's a gel consistency that feels cool on the face.
The second item in my bag was the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour full coverage foundation in Fair Sand, which was pretty awesome! I was scared that the shade was going to be too dark for me, but it was perfect. It is an extremely matte finish. The description says that its supposed to cancel out redness and even your complexion. And I have to agree with both of those claims.
Next up was a cream illuminator from LXMI. Again, this is the first time I've heard of this brand. The directions say that you can apply this all over your face before you apply foundation; mix in with your foundation; or dab in specific areas for a highlight. I chose the latter of the 3. I'm just kinda scared to put an illuminator all over my already oily face!! Its a beautiful rosey-gold highlight.
Then I got another eye brush... 🙄... Not gonna lie, at first I was always excited to get brushes in my bags. But it seems that I've gotten a brush in every bag for the last 6 months!! This one came in a sealed package, so I'll probably just give it to someone else!!
And lastly, I recieved a clear lip gloss from Fluide. When I saw the sneak peeks, this was the least exciting of all the products. HOWEVER, this has become an everyday product for sure! Since it's clear I have literally been popping it on top of all the lip combos that I create!! 👄
Overall, I loved this months bag! I can use everything that I got! I have been really thinking about checking out Boxycharm. It's like $20 a month, but you get all full size products, so idk.
