Be Bold 💋 April Ipsy Glambag
Hey y'all, Happy Friday!!🌞 I'm serving up some serious sass, with a bold pink lip! 💋 I have to say that I loved everything that came in my April Ipsy Glambag! For those who may not know what Ipsy is: Ipsy is a monthly makeup subscription. Every month you get 5 deluxe samples with at least 1 being a full size product. It all comes in an adorable little makeup 👛bag, for only $10 a month!
I have been with Ipsy for 3 years at this point, and this will be my last month. Not because I don't love it anymore, but because I have decided to upgrade to the Ipsy Glambag Plus!! 💗 And I'm pretty excited about it!😀 I just felt like I was ready to step it up a notch, so stay tuned for that!! With all that said, let's get in the bag!!💁🏼♀️
The first item in my bag was a watermelon exfoliating face scrub from PURLISSE. This scrub, first off, it smells 🍉 delicious! It feels cool to the skin as you apply it. Afterwards, it leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed, but not dry. I read the ingredients, and it has aloe and cucumber in it, so that's probably why! Fun Fact, I have a red face, under my makeup, and this is supposed to help with that. I haven't noticed that its helped, then again I'd probably have to get a full size to really know.
Second item in my bag was a beautiful metallic pink eyeshadow from Laura Sanchez! Which I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was not the olive green that I thought I was getting!! 😅 The shadow applied like a dream. However, it does go on a lot more hot pink than I thought, just by looking at it in the pan, but it was all good! I have a pretty light hand when it comes to bright or dark colors.
Next up was a lash volumizing mascara from BUXOM. This is a really good BASIC mascara. However, it was not volumizing at all. It went on perfectly, no clumps, didn't flake, and it wasnt too wet.
Then I received a black eyeliner from Eyeko London. Just so y'all know, I AM TERRIBLE with eyeliners. And to be honest, I think it has a lot to do with a combination of the formula and the tool. Hands down, this was the easiest liner for me to apply EVER!! 😳 It did not stick or pull my lid. It went on so smooth, almost like a marker. I have never heard of the brand, but I'm going to have to order another one of these for sure!! 👁👁
And for the icing on the cake! The last product in the bag was a creamy lip stain from TheBalm Cosmetics. At first, this one stumped me. It went on like a liquid lipstick, but it didn't dry down, so it felt like a gloss. Then when I went to take it off, I had to use a makeup wipe. I mean I love the product, I just wasnt sure what I should expect from it, since it's so different than anything I've ever tried. The bold pink color looked great on, it lasted all day, and made my teeth look extremely white!! 😁 So, that's a win win right?!!
