We're Moving // Life Update
Today's post is definitely a bittersweet one. As you can obviously tell by the title, we are in fact moving. Long story short, my husband got a job offer / promotion, which involved relocating to Arkansas! 🏞 I'm not gonna go into too much detail, but I did wanna hit some of the high points.
This was not something that we planned on, or had even considered. Nor was it an easy or quick decision. Stephen got the call back in late January, so we've had time to really pray and think on the pros and cons. Everything that came with the promotion was amazing, except for the moving back to Arkansas part. (For those who don't know, we grew up in the Natural State.) We love the Florida life, and waited for what seemed like forever to finally get here. We have a beautiful home, we love our church family, and we're only 30 minutes from the gorgeous white sand beaches in Destin! 🏖
At this point, we've been here for a year and 8 months. And this time next week we'll be in a condo on Lake Hamilton while we look for a new property to purchase. And for those wondering, we have already sold our home, so this weekend will be our last weekend in Florida...😭 Not only did our house sell within 24 hours of being listed, it was also in a 3 way bidding war, which drove the price up!🤑 It was really an amazing experience to be apart of!
Where I'd love to spend the weekend at the beach, we still have so much to do before Monday morning. For the most part, everything is packed up. And today I get the pleasure of picking up a UHAUL 😀😑... so for my local readers, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!😂 Needless to say, it's going to be a long exhausting weekend! However, we are looking forward to what the future holds with this new adventure.
With all of that said; To my Arkansas people, we are so excited to see y'all and reconnect. To my Florida people, we love y'all and are going to miss y'all so much. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the fam. This is not goodbye, its see ya later!!✌🏻
