5 Important Daily Reminders // Encouragement
Good morning from Hot Springs, Arkansas!! Whew, has it been a week!! Lol Next to labor, moving is one of the most exhausting things that you can do. However, we'll be living in a condo on the beautiful Lake Hamilton while we search for a house. So we should be able to relax for at least couple months. Today, I really just wanted to encourage someone by sharing 5 Important Daily Reminders!

1. Be True To Yourself Without Feeling Guilty.
This one is probably the biggest one for me to overcome, and honestly I'm still working on it. At one point i had mentioned that i can't show my "true colors" when I meet someone new, because they would think I'm weird. I mean, i am weird, but i don't want people to know I'm weird up front... ya know?! 🤷🏼♀️🤣 I feel like the older I get, the easier it is for me to show my neon colors. And if those new people that I meet don't like how bright my personality is, it doesn't bother me near as bad as it use to when I was younger. It just tells me that they are not my people, and I'm totally fine with that!

2. Leave The Past Behind To Move Forward.
Oh, this one is really good!! The Word says to forgive those who have offended you, or have done you wrong, but I'm not here to preach to you. So let's just say it like this, "leave the past behind you, so that you can move forward"! Meaning, stop dwelling on the fact that you got your panties in a bunch, and move on! This was a hard pill for me personally, to swallow. I have had my feelings hurt by people that I never expected it to come from. That's because I allowed offense to control me. YES, offense is a choice!! You can choose to not get offended, but only when you renew your mind daily, and then let your mind control your heart, and not the other way around.

3. Close Some Doors, So That Others Will Open.
This goes right along with "leaving the past behind to move forward". In order for new doors to open, you have to close the door behind you. In the church world, doors are very significant. We know that if we ask God to open a door, there will be no man on Earth that can stop it! And the same goes for closing doors. I am aware that not all of my readers go to church, so let me try my best to describe it. Imagine a round room with 8 doors. On the knob of the door that you walk through there is a red string tied to it. The other end of that string is tied to one of the other door knobs. As you walk through that door the string is loose, but when you close your door, another door will open. And it only opened because you closed the door behind you. Once you step through that opened door, you will then walk into new beginnings!
4. Trust That Everything Will Work Out.
This is where faith comes into play. After you've walked through the door that has been opened to you, you have to have faith and trust that everything is going to work out for your benefit. Without faith, you are basically a blind person stumbling around without their guide stick. 😳 Right?! Not only is that scary, but its dangerous! And it doesn't even matter what it is that you're doing; starting a blog, writing a book, going back to college, starting a new business, selling your home and moving your entire family 10 hours for a job promotion!! You have to have faith, and trust the process.

5. You Won't Fail Unless You Quit.
Picking up from there: You won't fail, unless you quit! Quiters never win anything. You may have to try and try and try again, but you will eventually win in the end. As long as you continue to move forward. Consistency is key!! So don't stop, don't give up, don't give in, don't quit!!
