Twisted Perspective
I will be the first to admit, that I have been sucked into the YouTube world... For the most part I watch the beauty and luxury lifestyle channels, simply because that's where my interests lie. The other day a video showed up in my feed as a suggested for you video, and the title caught my attention. It said "How I Do Law Of Attraction". Now, I've heard that phrase quite a few times in my life, but to be completely transparent, I really didn't know what it meant.
So I clicked on said video, hoping to learn something new that day. As she was listing the key points and explaining them, I was blown away because everything that came out of her mouth was exactly how I live my life. Only her perspective was twisted. She was talking about how she would "thank the universe" for her blessings. You see, she gave credit to the creation, and not the creator. She gave credit to a book, and not the Bible.
I went ahead and listed her key points, so that I could show you just how the enemy works. If you consider yourself to be a Child Of God, then you're well aware that satan can't create anything, because God stripped him from that when he was cast out of Heaven. So all he can do is twist the truth. And this poor girl is over here, basically preaching "law of attraction" and convincing others to follow suit. AND PEOPLE ARE BUYING IT. People are buying into the lie. People are setting up shop in the enemy's camp...
Like I mentioned earlier, i wrote down her key points so that I can show you what she was saying, and then back it up with scripture.
1. Be Thankful. Yes! You should always be thankful for your blessings. However, the Word says to enter His court's with thanksgiving. Give thanks and praise His name! If someone gave you a birthday gift, are you going to turn to the gift and say, "thank you gift"?.... NO, you're going to say thank you to the person who gave you the gift!! So yes, be thankful for your blessings, but be more thankful to the Blesser!!

2. Give Thanks In Advance. Be thankful for the things that have not happened yet. Speak it as though it were, and not as it is in front of you. THIS is literally how I create my world. When I tell you to watch what you say, I mean it! You can't go around damning everything, or its gonna be just that, damned. Damn house, damn car, damn kids... well no wonder you're not in a good place, you're quite literally damning it to hell.... There's power in the tongue to curse your life, OR create your life! Speak life over yourself and your household.

3. Be Visual. I've said this numerous times in my writings over the years, I have several notebooks where I write stuff down. I have an idea notebook and I have dream notebooks. And i do this simply because that's what the Bible says to do! The Word tells us to write out the plan, and make it clear.
4. Have Faith. The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. You can "name it, and claim it" all day, but if you're not acting on what you're claiming, then you're just talking... You have to believe in what you're saying and then back it up with action.
