Summer 2020 Trends That I'm Loving
Hey y'all!! Happy Friday!!😃 If you've been following the blog for any length of time, you'll know that I make it a point to talk about current trends that I'm loving at the moment; for each season. And yes I am completely aware that there are SEVERAL things trending right now, but there's a lot that I just can't get down with. So I'll just talk about the very few that I do wear and love!💗
The first thing up, and honestly I can't believe that this one is still on the "trend" list, but its rompers! They are the easiest thing in the world to style, ya know, like a dress, one and done! The only thing you have to figure out is what shoes and bag you wanna wear with it!! There is a downside to rompers though... ok, maybe 2... They are some of the most difficult articles of clothing to find, when it comes to the proper fit. I'm not sure about y'all, but I have the hardest time finding one that fits like it should. Anyone else?!!
Speaking of shoes!! Y'all know I love a good classic strappy heel. WELL let me introduce you to the bubble strap!! 😍 I found these on Lulu's a few months back and thought they would be a fun change up, while still keeping it classy!
Next up is linen! 🤗 Honestly I don't think linen will ever be considered "outdated". Its such a beautiful timeless fabric, that you really have to have an appreciation for. It took a while for me to get over the fact that it wrinkled like crazy. You just have to embrace it!
Lastly, and its probably one of my favorites, I can't believe this is actually a thing. However, as most of you may know, I've been trying to focus more on purchasing items that will last far past a season or "trend". About 4 years ago, is really when I started getting more into designer / luxury items. You may also know that designer labels are extremely expensive. So if there was anything that I specifically wanted in my collection, I would have to let the husband know months in advance "hey, this is what I want for Christmas or birthday", lol that kinda thing! Well last year I discovered a website called, TheRealReal.... 👀.... holy moly... So its basically a boujee second hand shop thats ONLY designer items!! 🤩 And apparently buying items on consignment, is TRENDING!!! 😅 Anyways, I have purchased a few things from there, and not just for myself. I bought Stephen a Gucci belt that was in perfect condition, for way less than the original price!🤑
There are loads of trends swirling around right now, but like I said earlier, I just cant get down with them. I hope y'all enjoyed catching a peek at what I'm loving at the moment! What are some of the current trends that you're into right now?
