Ways To Improve Yourself!

Hey y'all, Happy Friday!!😃 Y'all know that I'm all about self improvement. I am constantly doing something new, trying something different. So I wanted to motivate you, to maybe give you that extra boost you need to improve yourself. The following topics are the very things that I do, some on a daily basis, to improve myself!




Getcha mind right! First of all, you have to "getcha mind right"! 😅  In other words, you have to stop letting your mind control things. You have to make a conscious decision to tell yourself what you're wanting to do, and then just do it.  If you have a "poor mans" mentality then you will forever live with a negative mindset and the feeling of always being in lack. Any type of self improvement starts with the mind.

Invest in yourself! (and not just things). Investing in your HEALTH is probably one of the best things that you can do for yourself. And im not talking about dieting, FYI: Diets don't work..... 🤦🏼‍♀️ You have to make a lifestyle change!! Eat more veggies, drink more water. If you don't like the veg, find a supplement that works for you, just so you're getting the nutrition your body needs. Also, get active!! Even if it's walking around your neighborhood. Just do something everyday to get your heart rate up. And remember sweat is fat leaving the body!!💥 Another self investment thats high on the list; EDUCATION!!! When I was a kid my daddy told me that I could be whatever I wanted to be when I grew up, so I decided to do it all!! (Even though he highly recommended me becoming a lawyer!!🤣)  Right now I'm  working on getting my Group Fitness Cert, and ohhh man, it's basically like taking biology again... I'm not sure, but I think my next goal will be interior design...🤔....  At all cost, never stop learning! 





Don't wait for permission! There will always be nay sayers, you know, the ones who are always so negative about everything....😳 (you really don't need those people in your life, but thats another topic for another day!!😂). By listening to what others think, or have to say, you will evenutally get stuck because of it. Ignore them, reject their words. Words can have a stronghold over your life if you let them. You don't have to have permission from ANYONE to do what is best for YOU!!💥 And if you do have to have that permission, I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU!!!


Body language! Learning the art of conversation is pretty crucial, especially when meeting new people. I am pretty much a shy person at first, but then after that initial introduction, the shell bursts. However, i don't let others see that I'm shy, simply by how I carry myself. Over the past several years I have been intentional about my posture and how I walk. It takes a lot of practice to train your body to have a good posture. If you practice at home in your daily life, then it becomes second nature.  If youre talking with someone or a group, be present in the moment; that shows that you are genuinely interested in what the other person is saying. Also, ask relevant questions, and let them speak without cutting them off. All of the above fall under Body Language. 




Style! Style will  boost your self esteem, and quick. When you look your best, you feel your best. What you wear sends a certain message to others, whether you like it or not. So you have to think to yourself, "what kind of message am I sending to others around me?" Do you want others to think you look expensive, or like a lazy bum?...🤷🏼‍♀️ Let's be real, every girl wants to look expensive! If you look expensive to others, they will treat you with a higher level of respect. 

Take Action! Start now, don't wait. It will only get harder as you get older. I don't wanna look back 50 years from now, and be like, "dang I should've done this or that". So take that first step, and then follow through. You can do anything that you set your, what to?.... that's right, your mind!!!
