🧖🏼‍♀️ February Beauty 🧖🏼‍♀️

My monthly beauty post is normally very heavy in makeup, but today it's loaded with skincare!! And this was completely by choice. A while back Ipsy started letting us pick 3 of our products. Since my first 2 were already skincare, I decided to go ahead and skip on the makeup this go round!


First up is a foam cleanser from Vitabrid C12. I used this after using a makeup wipe. This cleanser removes all the leftover makeup that the wipe missed. It says to use a generous amount, so I did on my first time using it, but I think my generous amount and theirs are not the same! 😅 So the next go round I didn't use as much and it still got my face all clean!! This retails for $32.

Second item is a Universal C Skin Refiner from BeautyStat. I think it's going to take longer than a week to see any type of results with this one. It claims to help brighten, firm, & smooth your skin. Smoothness? I definitely felt a difference right away! Not so much on the others YET... When I first applied the serum, a few spot on my face started stinging like crazy😳 My guess is it's the Vitamin C... This retails for $80... And 1oz is full size, seems kinda crazy to me. The packaging isn't even that nice, it's just a standard plastic bottle with a pump..

Next up is a Vital Boost from Goldfaden MD. I really like the Goldfaden brand, I've tried several of their products in the past, and this one is no different. This moisturizer targets uneven skin using gooseberry, (didn't know that was a thing...), vitamin D, red tea, and grapefruit oil. This retails for $75.

Then we have a highlighting balm. This Dew Balm is from TYNT Beauty is pretty versatile. It can be used on the lips, under AND on top of your makeup. Now, I personally don't like it on or under my makeup. However, I do like using it on its own, and it feels good as a lip balm as well!! This retails for $28.

And lastly we have a press-on manicure set from Marmalade! This was the first time getting nails in my Glambag. They're pretty cool, I like the pink color and the shape. I did have to cut them down because I couldn't do anything!! Lol Oh to be a fly on the wall!! I also liked the red underneath until accidentally scratched the top of one nail.. so that's annoying. The kit came with a mini file and glue. These retail for $14.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this months bag! I think it was a nice change from my norm! I hope y'all have a fantastic weekend!!
