Krystals Kitchen // Crockpot White Beans

Good Morning!! I hope everyone is staying safe; that being you're in one of the states affected by the snow storms. Today I'm sharing a crockpot recipe that I use often. And I've seen the memes and know that my friends don't care about the "why" they just want the recipe. Just know, SNOW!! So let's get into it!!😃
What you need.

Crockpot 
1lb. Great Northern White Beans
2 cups chicken broth (optional)
1 1/2 Green Bell Pepper 
1/2 Onion 
1tbsp. Minced Garlic (fresh or jar)
NORMALLY you would add in a ham bone, I didn't have that, annndddd we're snowed in, so I used..
4 Strips of Bacon
2 Chopped Jalapeño Sausage Links
Salt & Pepper to your taste!
Since we're working with a crockpot, set it on HIGH, and just throw all of the above ingredients in. Add enough water to barely cover the top of the beans. You can also throw in a couple scoops of butter. (I usually add butter to everything!!😅) 

Cover. Set timer for 1 hour. After that hour is up, stir your beans. Be sure to add water to barely cover the beans. If you skip this step, your beans WILL BURN.... You will repeat those steps for 4 hours.
