🏡House Hunting Part 2

Sooo my last House Hunting post did surprisingly well!!😃  And I thought why not share more with yall?!! I did decide to go ahead and add in a few more pictures with this one, as opposed to the few in my first House Hunting experience. I figured yall would like that! Our 3 kiddos came on this trip with us, which made Lillian & EllyKay very happy! Gavin, not so much!!😅

The first house was EllyKay & Lillians favorite! Actually the only real reason they could give was "because it's bigger" and "the pool has a slide"! And they weren't wrong with either of those statements. The specs are 5 bed, 3.5 bath, 4,100sqft, roughly a half acre. It has hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs. The kitchen was completely open to the livingroom, had stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and green tile flooring..😬 The master is the only bedroom downstairs, which is ok I guess. The master bath was probably the most dated room in the house. The bedrooms upstairs were all a generous size. The game was upstairs too, and I'm not sure we would like that. We assume the homeowners have dogs because the backyard was devided with a fence. The pool looked really small in the online pics, but it's actually a pretty good size. I would say the only thing that we just did not like about this property, was that it backed up to a road and you could definitely hear cars as they passed by.

The next one was Gavins favorite. His reasoning was because one of the bedrooms had the same blanket as him! Lol The specs are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3,100sqft, roughly a half acre. This house was very colorful. I think each room was painted a different color. It had hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen was open to the livingroom. It had stainless steel appliances with granite countertops. This house seemed very similar to the other one in last weeks post; "felt like an apartment". All 4 bedrooms were upstairs, and were all a good size. The master had an extra space  notched out for an office, which would work perfectly for Stephen since he works from home now. The master bath & closet were both very large spaces!!😍 The back patio was screened in over looking the pool / yard area. The pool was nice but very small. There would be plenty of yard for our dogs to run around in. Overall this property was nice. I think the only thing we really didn't like was the fact that the whole backyard had a significant slope down. The privacy fence would need to be replaced since it was oddly short. (I like a little privacy when I'm out at the pool!!👀). And it backed up to train tracks.. Which was another reason why Gavin wanted this property..🤷🏼‍♀️ He said it reminded him of our Prescott house!

The last property on this trip was by far the least expensive. And surprisingly the least favorite with our kids. The specs are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3,200sqft, with a smidge over a half acre. The flooring was laminate wood throughout except for tile in the wet areas, and carpet in the game room. The only thing I liked in the kitchen were the countertops. The dark brown cabinets and the bulky light fixture made it feel like a cave. The livingroom felt pretty small, which is probably because of the huge TV that's the same size as the fireplace. The master and 2 rooms were at one end of the house, and the 4th was on the other side off the kitchen. It had its own bathroom making it the perfect setup for Gavin. The bedrooms were not huge, but they're big enough to fit a full size bed. The master was probably my favorite space in the house. The homeowners styled it nicely. The master bath was a great size as well. The gameroom would double as Stephen's office, which wouldn't be a bad thing. Sooo... the backyard...🤷🏼‍♀️😅 When the privacy fence was put up, they didn't include the whole backyard... which made no sense to me. Like, there was allllll this other part of the backyard that wasn't fenced, it was just wide open to all the neighbors.. I found it very strange that someone would do that!🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ So like the other property, we would have to either replace the fence or take down a section and expand it to the rest of the yard.
I think I'm learning that my viewers enjoy more of the "house" content over everything else.. If that's the case let me know, I'd be more than happy to do more content like that! So which property do yall like the most?!
