🌟 2021 Roundup // Lookbook 🌟
Wow what a year this has been! Most definitely a whirlwind of emotions, full of new challenges, and a ton of firsts! With today being 🌟 New Years Eve 🌟 I thought it would be appropriate to close out the year with a 2021 Roundup Lookbook. Hangout with me for a few minutes while I share some of our best (& worst) memories from this past year.
January We were still in the Hot Springs house at this point. We were right in the middle of trying to sell it. We were also still making upgrades. Stephens birthday is in January, so we celebrated his birthday TWICE! I actually cannot believe that I was able to pull off 2 whole birthday surprises!
February We had a freak snow storm... So I dressed up like Elsa!!😍😅 We never lost power so that was good, but our driveway was not ideal... We were quite literally STUCK at home for an entire week...
March Stephen and I went to Negril, Jamaica for our 12 year anniversary!!😍 We had a blast! I wrote a Travel Diary on our trip, so I won't go into detail here. But it was a really good trip for sure!!
April We made 2 trips to Huntsville to look at houses. Put in an offer on our home here in Alabama. Got to see Clay Walker in concert with our friends!
May Was actually a very busy moth for us.. We sold our Hot Springs home, and moved to Alabama. Went to Ft. Walton Beach for a week. Moved into a temporary condo in AL. Bought our new home in Alabama.
June I started building my raised garden beds. Tackled a few small projects around the house like pressure washing, replacing the pool slide, & taking out an old hot tub that didn't work. My first project in the house was taking out the horrible wire shelves in my closet... Stephen started removing a cabinet that was in our living room....
July We continued more projects around the house; my closet & the livingroom project. We bought a new couch. Stephen knocked down some fencing out back to make more room for my garden beds.. I started subbing Dance Fitness/Zumba at our gym. We celebrated EllyKay graduating Kindergarten (from home since she missed hers because of the move..)
August Stephen and I went to Las Vegas for the first time. Saw George Strait in concert. Went to a Trump Rally in Cullman AL. Found out our yard was takin over by Army Worms.. they ate all our grass... Bought our new dinning table.
September I started putting effort into my YouTube channel. Took a family vacation to Daytona Beach FL. Learned how to make my own dried seasonings. Harvested my first okra! Added more garden beds!
October I got INVISALIGN 😃 I started working on my garden to make it pretty! (Still haven't finished that project..) With help from my father inlaw & husband I had more added to my closet set up.. Celebrated Halloween with them fam. We were the 101 Dalmatians
November I harvested my first carrot!! Gavin got his OSHA card through his woodshop class at school!! Went to Tuscaloosa to watch the Razorbacks lose to Alabama. Had a very simple Thanksgiving dinner. We set up our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.
December That pesky elf, MoJo, showed up on his reindeer! Lillian had to do a science project for school which was pretty cool. My inlaws came in for Christmas, where my father inlaw installed a new ceiling fan & a new chandelier in our dinning room!!😃 Some of my family came in as well.
Like I said,, a CrAzY year, but a good year! 🤗 I also wanted to thank each one of you, my readers, I appreciate yall so much! You really have no idea how much it means to me that yall take a few minutes out of your day to engage with me. The views, the comments, the clicks do not go unnoticed.
