Let's Get 👙 Intimate

Welcome back class!! Today's post is specifically for my lady friends, so if your a guy... sorry dude, you gotta go!!🖐🏻  We women, all want to feel comfortable and confident in our bras, so let's talk about it. You may have seen last week, where I introduced my newest brand partner, 🧡 Warners Bras!! 😃 And today I'm going to be featuring them on the blog!  

Warners so generously sent me 4 different bras, in 3 different sizes to try out. So today will be a mix of a review and a few things to think about when purchasing a new bra. Or purging the ones you have. Some of these are straight from the Warners site, some are from Amazon, & the rest is all my thoughts and opinions.

Fun Fact: I am super self conscious about my underarms... This probably sounds ridiculous, but I have fat armpits and I hate it! 😂 If you're like me and are very self conscious of your whole underarm area, then the "No Side Effects" will be your new beastie for the restie! I don't know how long this style has been a thing, but my goodness I'm hooked! The extra fabric that covers more of the side area is a total game changer!

This next one is also from the No Side Effects collection, only it's slightly different than the one above. These are both 36C, and where they are extremely comfortable and providea bit more coverage, the C cup is a smidge too big.

These next 2 bras are from the Play It Cool collection. They may look the exact same, but one is a 36B & the other is a 38B. After having tried both sizes, I've found that the 38 band is so much more comfortable than the 36. Going back to my above statement regarding my "fat pits", I feel like I could have avoided a little bit of that by getting a bigger band size. If you look at the pic below of the gray bra, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's that extra "spillage" that I'm self conscious of. So now I know, moving forward, that my correct size is a 38B. This particular style is specifically for the "racer-back" tanks / tops / dresses. Which come in clutch for certain occasions. 

Need To Know:

How to know if it's time to toss it.

🧡 It's damaged. If it has holes or the cups are creased or dented.

🧡 It's just doesn't fit. Our bodies change all the time, so if it's not damaged, donate it to you favorite charity. 

🧡 If the elastic is worn out. The band is the most important part, so if it's on the tightest setting and it's still loose or riding up... it's time for it to go.

When shopping for new bras, I've always been too scared to ask the sales associate to measure me. So I would just wing it, using the trial & error method. If it was too big or too small I would just return it to the store, and still not know my exact size. So I have added a measuring chart for the next time you go in store or order online.
