Normally I'll share what's "trending" in the fashion world every few months, but the other day I thought why not share a few Micro Trends?... 🤷🏼‍♀️ And you may be wondering; "What the heck is a micro trend?". Well, I'm here to tell you what Google says!😅👇🏻


Micro trends take what you know about trends and accelerate the process: these trends rise to popularity quicker and then leave the trend cycle faster. While traditional fashion trends typically last a few years, micro trends' life spans are shorter, with some lasting less than one season. - Google

I've found that all trends, including micro trends, come in waves. So none of these are new, they're just at the forefront at the moment. I know that most people could care less about these things; however, if you clicked the link, then you probably do care. And this my friend, is for you!!🙋🏼‍♀️

Embellishments This is one that you can have fun with. There's literally something for everyone, you just have to find what you like. I love a good pearl detail. Back in 2017, when I started getting serious about Krystal Blogs, I wrote an article about how to DIY a pearl embellished denim jacket!! (Here) If you're into rhinestones, crystals, sparkle, sequins, I've even seen a few patches; now is your time to shine!!



Midi Denim Skirts So apparently when a celebrity is spotted wearing something specific in public, the fashion houses cater to said garment. In this case, we're talking about a midi denim skirt. I know the UPC folks are rolling their eyes at this one!! jk... kinda...😅 Personally, I don't think long, or longer skirts suit me very well; but here we are.


Metallics I actually really like this one! Now you don't have to be a Basic B like myself and go for the silver version, that's just my preference. ANY & ALL colors are included in this. 


Zebra Print Out of all of the animal prints I feel like the Zebra print is more my style. So personally I love Zebra print any time of the year, but right now we're seeing it pushed more and more. And I'm👏🏻here👏🏻for👏🏻it!👏🏻
