10 Years Of Marriage // Co-Written with Stephen Chenault
So todays post is probably one of the most special pieces that I've ever put together. If you follow me on any of my social media accounts, then you'll know that Stephen and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary yesterday! 🤗 And as you saw from the title, we have decided to co-write this post.
You would think that telling how you feel about someone would be easy, but for me its extremely difficult. Where it's no big deal for me to tell you things about me and about my daily life, its really hard for me to talk about my feelings and emotions. I think mainly because it always makes me cry! Lol I honestly don't know why, but I do. When Stephen and I were dating, he would write me letters and poems, and then would ask why I never wrote him letters. I could never give him an answer other than shrugging my shoulders and saying, "I'm not good with that kinda stuff". So this is me stepping way outside my comfort zone, and I'm so glad that he's taking this step with me.
Stephen, you are my best friend. You are my most favorite person to be around. You are the love of my life. The one that I dreamed about and prayed for. Our life is everything that I could have hoped for. Not because its perfect, but because it's ours. I understand that perfection in a marriage doesn't exist. And that you have to work hard and invest time in your family to make it what you want.
So Stephen, thank you. Thank you for everything that you do for me. Thank you for showing me what love is. You've taught me that when you love someone, you will do anything for them, no matter what it is. That you would put the other person's needs over your own without hesitation. Thank you for the morning and evening calls while you're driving to and from work. Thank you for always making me laugh, even when I'm in a pissy mood. Thank you for taking care of me always. Thank you for the midnight talks. Thank you for allowing me to be my goofy self. Thank you for holding my hand in the car. Thank you for wiping my tears when I've had a bad day. And most of all, thank you for trusting me with your heart.

Krystal, I couldn't imagine living my life with anyone else but you. You make me a better man in every single way. When I'm barely sick but I feel like I'm about to die, I love the way you baby this grown man and take care of me. I love how, through 10 years of marriage, you've only gotten happier and grown more in love with me. We've had our share of ups and downs but you've never quit. Thank you for our three children that you mother to perfection, even on the days when you think your losing your mind. Ten years of dates, events, raising children. Sharing our thoughts and hearts, and overcoming obstacles. The laughing the crying, buy and selling houses. All while falling more in love day by day. You have been the greatest gift from God that I could have ever dreamed of. I love you Krystal Diane.
