Seasons Change // Encouragement

When I say, "seasons change" obviously I'm not talking about the actual seasons; spring, summer, fall, and winter. However, we do live our lives from season to season, only our seasons are not controlled by a date on a calendar or by the temperature outside.

When things in your life make a shift or change you may say, "life happens", well I say we're stepping into a new season.  When you do step into a new season, Holy Spirit would've already been preparing you for a change. When you start to withdrawal yourself from things naturally, whether it be physically or mentally, i feel like that's Gods way of preparing you for something, that you just aren't aware of yet.

Then sometimes, you get hit with the suddenlies. Suddenlies are when things change or shift in a sudden way. Have you ever had something happen so fast, then all of a sudden your whole world is flipped around? That means you've just stepped into a new season.

We sat under a pastor for a few years and at one point he had mentioned open doors. He said, "there will always be open doors, and you gotta discern which one you're supposed to walk through." And that has always stuck with me. If you choose the wrong door, it doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad door, it just means that you're not going to receive the full benefit of what God is giving you. It's always better to listen to your inner spirit man, that way you walk through the right door.

The other day Cathrine Mullins was talking about unexpected packages. She was saying, "when you're praying for something, God will give you what you prayed for, only it may be in a round about way". So basically in a different way than what you were expecting. For instance, if you're praying for money, God will more than likely give you a job! So, just because it didn't come to you, the way that YOU were expecting it to come, doesn't mean that it's not from God.

Seasons change, the wind shifts, and
doors open. It's our job to be prepared for that new season, allow the wind to guide our sails, and discern which door we walk through.

These are some of my thoughts as of late, so I just thought I'd share them with y'all. Its slightly different than my norm, so I hope that's ok! 😉 Also, It's easy for me to tell what I'm thinking, but it's not that easy for me to put my thoughts in order. Lol So if this post, or any of my posts, seem to be scatter-brained 🤷🏼‍♀️ that's just how my brain works 90% of the time!! 😂 I hope y'all have a happy Friday and an even better weekend!!

  1. Well, I am definitely in the season that happened suddenly. Our pastor's that we are under right now are resigning and they're last service with us will be this coming Sunday. For the last four and a half years I have been under Jennifer Wing being taught as the women's Ministries assistant. Now that they are moving that torch has been handed to me. It was so unexpected and I cannot even explain the fears that overwhelm me. But the door has been open and I am now officially a woman's leader. This has been a desire upon my heart for so long, to minister to women, and now that it's here I'm questioning God; going are you sure are you really sure. New season has begun.....

    1. Tamara, that is so great! If you were in training for that position, I feel like this is Gods way of saying, Daughter, you are ready!! Its not a torch from her to you. It's a torch from Yahweh!!
