Pink Spring // March Ipsy Glambag
Good Morning Everyone!!☀️ Who is SOOO excited that springtime is officially here?!! 🙋🏼♀️ I am for sure!! I just love how everything transitions to being softer and lighter. Outside, as I drive down the road, the shrubs have already begun to produce flowers. In fashion we change out heavy boots and bulky coats for sandals and thin jackets. Our makeup becomes fresh and airy as we swap out a dark vampy lipstick for a sheer gloss. And this month, my Ipsy bag nailed it with a perfect fresh springy look!
First item in my bag was this face cleanser from Farmacy. Y'all know that in order to have a fresh face, you need a fresh base! This cleanser is so good. I've never heard of the brand before now, but I'll definitely be purchasing this in full size.
Second, is a cheekbone highlight from PUR. This is a very subtle highlight, which is the kind that I prefer. It is not chunky or glittery, it just has a nice glow. I do think it's a tad bit too dark for my skintone at the moment. However, I feel like it will be perfect for when I'm a little darker. So, I'll probably just hold on to this and try it out as I work on my tan.
Next up is the Maneater mascara from Tarte. And I have to be honest, it was not my favorite. It was most definitely my least favorite thing in the bag. It just did not perform like a mascara should. And especially with Tarte being a more prestigious brand, I was shocked at how poorly of a job it did. I then thought, "well, let me curl my lashes, that might help." NOPE, that made it worse. It started flaking off everywhere... it was not pretty.
Then I got this AMAZING sheer lip gloss from Ciate London! 😍 At first I was like, oh gosh this is going to be too bright for me, but then I applied it and realized that it's not as bold as the picture led on. I love a good lip gloss, especially for springtime. I normally will wear just the gloss on a bare lip, but I also love to layer them over a nude lip. It just adds a little extra oomph to your overall look. And with this one giving off a tiny bit of color, it allows you to be more creative!
And last but not least, the one thing that I was MOST excited about, only because I've been wanting to try for so long is this Sol Janeira Brazilian Bum Bum Cream!! 😍🤗 I've heard so many people talk about this and read a lot of articles about how amazing this cream is, but I would never just pull the trigger and get it. When I saw that it was going to be in my bag, it just made me so happy!! Now, I dont think I'll have enough to see results, but this size did allow me smell and feel it! And I am definitely going to be getting this in full size!
