Father's Day Gift Guide // Mens Fashion
In the spirit of Father's Day, I have decided to change things up a bit! Now y'all know that I love talking about fashion styles and trends that I am loving at the moment, but today I wanted to honor the man in our house, by sharing some of Stephen's Style with you! Yes, I know the title says "gift guide" and it can very well be used as that as well.
For all of the 15 years that I've known Stephen, I would say the only "style" that he's held onto was a button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up, khaki shorts, and flip flops. It has been a work in progress to get him to the point that hes at right now. Like I mentioned earlier, I have pulled together a few of his favorites, as well as mine, and put them in one place for y'all. Everything is linked to make it easier for you to find. 1. Button down shirt. Personally I love Stephen in blue, it doesn't matter the shade or hue.
2. Dark denim jeans. Stephen likes and has other washes besides dark, but for his job he has to wear dark denim with no distressing. So every now and then he'll grab a different wash, but for the most part he opts for the dark.
3. Rayban Sunglasses. A few years ago Stephen really got into wearing aviators, so one year for Christmas, I got him a pair of Raybans. Then last summer he lost them IN THE OCEAN...🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♂️ When he went to get a new pair, he decided to change it up and go for a different style.
4. Tree Hut Watch. This is actually a watch that I was gifted from a campaign that I worked on. And it turns out that he actually likes it, and wears it quite often.
5. Leather belt. Stephen isn't too picky when it comes to belts, just as long as it fits properly. He has a few, and likes to swap them out according to his #ootd
6. Dress shoes. About 2 years ago Stephen told me that he wanted to "get his shoe game strong" lol So he's probably bought more shoes in these past two years, than he's bought throughout the 15 years I've known him! Sometimes it does take a little convincing on my part, to get him to pull the trigger on a new or different style of shoe. I am still working on the blue suede shoe though!!🤣
7. Ridge Wallet and Money Clip. Stephen had always carried a traditional style leather wallet until he was gifted the Ridge wallet from a campaign that he worked on a couple months ago. Ever since he got it, that's what he's been using. It's sleek and tidy, and holds all of his cards and cash without being bulky.
8. Pacino's. This is Stephen's favorite hair gel. His barber from Crestview recommend it, so that's what he uses. He likes it because it holds without looking stiff, and he gets the matte finish so that it doesn't look greasy.
9. Calvin Klein Eternity Aqua. When it comes to cologne, if I don't love it, we're not buying it! 🤷🏼♀️ This Calvin Klein classic is one of my favorite colognes, and it doesn't give me a headache. Stephen has been wearing it for about 4 years now, and I still love the scent!
