Summertime Glow // Beauty

Hey y'all what's up, what's goin on, what the biness is?!! 😂 Todays post is all about what came in my Ipsy Glambag Plus! I got some AWESOME products in this months box, and I'm going to share them with you! For the new comers, Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends you 5 beauty related products from makeup and skincare, to body and haircare. I get the Glambag Plus which is $25 a month, and it comes with 5 full size products valued at over $100.🤑 However, you can opt for the $10 bag that comes with 4 deluxe samples and 1 full size product all in a cute little makeup bag, which is what I did for 3 years prior to upgrading!

Every month there is a different theme that goes along with the products. The theme for July is Dive In, so we got products that are geared towards glowy, supple, summer skin. So I have done my absolute best to create a glowy summer look with all of the products that I received. Now let's Dive In!!

In order to have glowy skin you really have to have a great foundation, which is why moisturizers are so important. I received this Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer from Glow Recipe. It smells amazing and left my face and neck feeling super hydrated and soft. It's a cool gel texture that protects your skin with vitamins and amino acids. Glow Recipe is know for creating natural, cruelty-free products inspired by korean beauty trends.

Ultimately, hydration is the name of the game, and this guy fits the bill! This Bright Eyes from Goldfaden MD is a brightening eye cream that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and puffiness. The hyaluronic acid keeps the skin plump for hours. Goldfaden MD was inspired by nature and made from plant cells and antioxidant-rich botanicals.

To make your skin even more glowy this summer, use a highlighter as icing on the cake. I received this huge 3D Highlighter palette from Huda Beauty, and its incredible! I've never tried any of Hudas  highlighters until now, and I was really impressed with how creamy they were. This palette is supposed to be able to be used all over the face, however, I'm not sure if I'm ready for all that!! 😂 The 2 shades that I used in my look were Seychelles and Zanzibar, the 2 on the right side. I really felt like the gold were going to be too dark for my skintone.

I never thrilled about recieving a mascara, however there are those few instances when I am. And this is one of them! I have been using a Marc Jacob's one for a couple years, its definitely my "go to". This one from Thrive came in at a perfect time,  because I've been needing to get another one. This one is so great, it applies like a dream. It's not too wet or too dry, and it doesn't clump up. I love how the wand is tapered, making it easy to get those little tiny hairs.

As if you couldn't get any more glowy, say hello to my lil friend!! 🤣 After I completed my look, I doused myself with this Glow Mist from Pixi. I sprayed it all over my face, neck, decolletage, shoulders! I love how it gives off a natural healthy glow, so that you're not looking like Edward's sister!!😂 The brand Pixi was created by a working mom of 4, and was created for easy, on the go, that help cut down your routine time.

A while back Ipsy implemented an "add-on" feature, so that you can purchase your favorites and not pay shipping on them, they just come in your box/bag. I knew that I was going to record an unboxing and show how I used the products, so I decided to add an eyeshadow palette and a liquid lipstick. I went for the Huda Beauty Mauve Obession palette and the Joli Cosmetics liquid lippie. Like I mentioned earlier, I've never used the Huda products until now, but I was so impressed with this little palette. I'm definitely going to have to try some of her other stuff. The colors were so rich and creamy, and went on like butter! I chose this liquid lippie because it looked like it would be a perfect match for any eye look created with this particular palette. However, it's way darker on, than it shows in this picture. I was expecting a true mauve, and I got a dark vampy purple...😳 The lippie is probably the only thing that I didn't love, and that was from my own doing, not Ipsy. I think its definitely more of a Fall color, so who knows, maybe I'll use it then!

This months box was so fun, I loved all of the products that I received from Ipsy. (With the exception of the lippie...) If you're interested in trying out Ipsy you can use my link here. I do not get paid from you using my link, I only get points that I can cash in to get free products. I really hope y'all liked todays post, and I hope you have a fabulous GLOWY weekend!!
