Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel!!..... or scratch that because at this moment I have no storage left to record anything...😭😭😭... SO, I won't be able to upload any new content over on my YouTube channel til we get something else figured out!! Until then, it's back to pen and paper for me! 📖🖋 Today I'm bringing you my Ipsy Glambag Plus for the month of August, and I have to say, I just dang loved this box!! This months theme was geared towards showing off your natural skin, so I was able to create a totally different look than I've ever done before.
First up is a hydrating cream mask from AHAVA. This was my first time ever hearing of this brand. We all know, in order to have a good makeup day, we gotta have good skincare! You can use this as a 1 time mask or you can sleep in it if your having an extremely dry season. I rarely have those, so I have not slept in it yet. However I did apply it and let it sit for a few minutes then washed it off. It left my face feeling super soft and moisturized. I'm just crossing my fingers 🤞🏻 that it won't end up breaking me out!
The second item was the Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer from It Cosmetics! I was probably the most excited about this particular product, just because I had never tried anything from It Cosmetics before. Since I have my profile set up properly, they sent me the shade light, which matched my skintone perfectly! It's a full coverage moisturizer, so it evens out your skin and covers the redness, while still letting some of your natural show through. It also has SPF50 making it perfect to wear to the pool!
Next up were liquid chrome illuminating drops from SUVA beauty. To be honest, these kinds of products scare me just because I already have oily skin, and I'm prone to breakouts. However, I used it anyway, but went in with a very light hand and only used it on my cheekbones and the tip of my nose. Personally I think I could've gone more for of a lighter color, but the tiny bit of gold was still beautiful!
Then I received the In The Balm Of Your Hand Greatest Hits Volume 2 from The Balm Cosmetics! This palette is so cool. Not only is it an eyeshadow palette, it has blush, a bronzer/contour, and a highlighter, so it's really a whole face palette! I know that I will get a lot of use out of this palette for sure.
Lastly, I got the Sweet Cheeks blush palette from NYX. To be honest I will probably never use most of the colors in this palette, but I did try out a couple of them. The 2 on the left are more my speed. I think that peachy tones on fair skin if so beautiful! I can easily see myself using some of these as eyeshadows as well.
