Self Care From Head To Toe // Product Review
Good Friday Morning!! 😃 Over the past 2 months I have received a few new products from Influenster and I wanted to share them with you, for in case you're in the market for any of the items listed!
For those who don't know, Influenster is like a PR company that sends out products to be tested and reviewed. These products were sent to me complimentary for testing and reviewing purposes. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
So first up is a Body Cleanser and Body Creme from OUIA. (That's pronounced "way" 😉) OUIA is a pretty well know brand in the beauty community. You will find their products in places like Ulta and Sephora. I am so obsessed with this body creme, it's unreal! It's lightweight, but still moisturizing. It's not greasy or watery at all. The scent is different than OUIAs other products, it reminds me of going to a spa. I will definitely be purchasing more after I run out!! Retails for $38.
The body cleanser is ok, it's not my favorite. I still use it because I'm not going to waste the product. I don't really care for the scent, (personal preference). Yes it is a nice cleanser and does the job, but I feel like it's too thick and doesn't lather. So I literally have to wash my upper body, then get more product to wash my lower body. Does that make sense??...🤷🏼♀️ I read some of the reviews on the Sephora website, they were saying how well it lathered up, but I feel different. Then again, that is just my opinion. Retails for $28.
Next up is a shampoo and conditioner set from FEKKAI. My hair is quite complex; it's fine and fluffy at the same time. When you add in the platinum, it makes it even more difficult to find products that won't weigh it down too much, but still has enough weight to keep the flyaways in check, all while not making it turn yellow... yes, welcome to my world!! I have never heard of this brand, so I have no knowledge about their other products.
Both the shampoo and conditioner are lightweight, and from what I can tell it doesn't feel heavy after using. It has a nice lather to it, so it feels like you're getting a good clean head of hair while washing. However, I did not notice that there was any extra volume added. I've been using these 2 together everyday for 3 weeks now, and I'm still having to use a texture spray or dry shampoo to add volume. The scent is not the greatest, (personal preference), it kinda gives off a lemony-limeish smell. Overall, it is a good shampoo that does the job, and leaves my hair super soft and shiny.
