The Future Is Yours / August Ipsy Glam Bag / Beauty
So this is my first "beauty" post since March!!😃 If you remember a few months back, I wrote a blog post about how to be frugal, and 1 of my tips was to cancel any unnecessary subscriptions. Unfortunately, IPSY fell into that category. Actually I didn't cancel it completely, I just put it on hold for 3 months. Ya know, to see how things with Rona were gonna pan out! Anyway, I'm now back to receiving new makeup every month 😃 which makes me very happy!!
First up in my Glam Bag, is this cryo ATP sports booster from 111SKIN. Now I know you're thinking, "what the heck is that?...." I know, because thats what i said!!😅 So basically it's like coffee for your face! Turns out this is great for me, since I go to the gym regularly. You use a few drops after your workout to help give you that post workout glow. If you're not a gym gal, you can still use this product to wake up your face in the mornings!!
Next up is this super fluffy powder brush from Complex Culture. I actually didn't use it for setting powder, I used it as a blending brush after applying my bronzer, blush, and highlight. It worked like a dream!
Third up, I got an eyeshadow palette from ESTATE COSMETICS. There are a few colors that I know I will never use, but there are several that I will! 😅 There are 4 matte and 5 glitter / shimmer. The colors are so rich, they will be perfect for Fall!
Then, I received a black eyeliner from REALHER. It says its a 24 hour liner, trust me when I say IT REALLY IS.... I switched it on my hand before actually using it, and it didn't wash off, even with Dawn soap!!😆 As for my eyes, I don't use a proper eye makeup removal cream, only the wipes. Since I used this in my waterline, I didn't want to irritate my eyeballs by rubbing the wipe in that area. The next morning, I looked like a raccoon!!😂 If you ever try it, be prepared!!
Lastly, I got 2 cream eyeshadow sticks from Beauty For Real. This is my first time using anything from this brand, but I am definitely impressed with tbese sticks
The color payoff is beautiful! I used the darker one on the center of my eyelid and then I used the lighter one as a brow, inner corner, top of the nose, and cupids bow highlight!!🔥
