💄January Beauty 💄

Hey Fam!! 😃  I'm very well aware of what's going on in the world, and a makeup review is probably the last thing anyone would want to read. Then again, I know there are a handful of people looking for some kind of small, harmless distraction. In today's post, we're diving into my January Ipsy Plus Glambag!!😍 

First let's start with skincare! This bag didn't have facial skincare products, only a body cream from Cela. Its their Creme Violette. It claims to help calm red, itchy skin, I can't vouch for that part. However, it is a nice hand cream! 😅 This time of year my hand gets super dry, especially around my knuckles. It has a very light scent, and hydrates nicely too. This retails at $28

Second up in my bag is a BEAUTIFUL eyeshadow palette from Doucce!! For starters, these colors are right up my alley & I can use everything shown! Secondly, the quality is amazing!! I've played around with it a few times, and was about to create multiple beautiful looks! The website says that this palette retails for $60... I'm pretty sure I wouldn't spend that amount on an eyeshadow palette, thank goodness for Ipsy!!😅

Next up is the Shimmer Veil from CoverFX. It's basically a liquid eyeshadow toppers. This one is very similar to the Stila... what?... metal something??.... Anyways, the color is in Celestial; its a gorgeous pink shade that reflects light like crazy!! Lol It dries down pretty quick and lasts a long while. This retails at $28.

Then we have a lip gloss that I chose for this month. Its from Conplex Culture. I chose this one because I've received several products from this brand, and they're usually pretty good. Plus, you always need a good clear gloss in your bag!! This one is not sticky AT ALL!! I was really surprised when I first tried it. Some of the ingredients are shea butter and passion fruit seed oil. So maybe thats why it's not sticky like other glosses. This retails at $18.

Lastly is a hair balm. Now, I chose this one too, only because I've never tried anything from IGK Hair and I've heard loads of good things about the brand. This balm is a leave-in conditioner. With my hair color and texture I can only use a leave-in conditioner as a hair mask. I know some are able to use it and wear out in public... not me... With my hair having no pigment, it tends to turn a yellowish color, especially when its wet. I say all that to say this; for me it works great as a hair mask. It leaves my hair feeling very nourished or hydrated...(hair is not my area of expertise so I don't know the correct words) And it smells amazing!! This retails for $29.
