Hey yall Happy Friday!! Today I'm sharing my monthly makeup / skincare review. Every month I receive the IPSY Glambag Plus. And every month I share my thoughts and opinions on the new products that I receive, with the intention of helping a girl out! With that being said, let's get into the goods!!
Second up we have a brightening & de-puffing hyaluronic overnight eye mask from avant. I'm thinking this is one of those products that will need to be used on a nightly basis to get the full effect. I've only had it for roughly 2 weeks. I can tell you that after you apply it, you can almost immediately feel the eye area tighten up. So it's doing something!😂 This retails for $93... I'm gonna say, i like the product, but I don't think it's worth that price.

First up we have a skin buff from Elemis. I think "skin buff" is another way of saying "exfoliator"! 😅 Elemis is a brand that I've been using for a few years now, but I had never tried this one. This exfoliator is definitely on the gentle side of the spectrum. The directions say that you can use it twice a week. I've used it a couple times since it came in, and I really like it. It leaves your skin feeling renewed and moisturized after you've rinsed. There's a slight scent of regular hand cream, but it's not overwhelming. This retails for $41.
Next up in my bag was a 3 pack of beauty sponges from the brand Araceli. I have mixed thoughts on these... So, they seem to apply my foundation fine, but I don't like the way it feels in my hand. It almost feels like a plushy toy... make sense?!...🤷🏼♀️ Its soft,, but there's no bounce to it.. These retail for $36. And again, definitely not worth the price.
Then we have an eyeshadow palette from Violet Voss. I had never used Violet Voss before, though I had heard good things about the brand. I received the Windflower palette that consists of 10 warm toned shades. 5 mattes & 5 shimmers. All of the shades are pretty pigmented. This palette will get a load of usage from me, especially in the fall months! It retails for $18.
And lastly we have an eyeliner from Wander Beauty, in the shade Napa Nights (A purple color). This is a liner that will last allllll day!! 😅 I had to use makeup remover to get it off! I use it in the waterline and a smidge on the lid to create a little bit of definition. Retails for $21. Worth the price!!👍🏻
