Creating Magic // October Beauty
Good Morning Everyone!! 🤗 So my monthly beauty post is going up a week later than anticipated... (I'll explain that a little later!😉). As y'all know, I get the Ipsy Plus Glambag every month; I try the products out, then tell you if they're worth giving them a try for yourself! So let's get into my October bag!!
First up is a PoreDermabrasion from Dr. brandt. If y'all have been around here a while, then you'll know I LOVE dr. brandt products!😍 They are definitely on the pricey side, so I only get them when they come in my Ipsy bag. This is an exfoliating treatment that cleans out your pores. It smells like peppermint, and makes my face feel so clean and smooth after using. I would say it's more of a harsher treatment, so I only use twice a week.
Second up is a translucent setting powder from TARTE. It's in their Shape Tape collection. This was one of the products that I actually got to pick out. It blurs fine lines and pores, mattifies the skin, and locks in you foundation all day! I really like this setting powder so far. I would say that im not a fan of the little round pad that comes with it, so I sure my normally powder brush.
Next is a blush palette from TheBalm Cosmetics.
(This particular product is why todays blog post got push back another week... When I received my Ipsy bag 2 weeks ago, a few of these pans had been destroyed in transit. I immediately took a pic of the broken product, and emailed the Ipsy Care Team. They got back to me pretty quick saying that they were going to send another one. About a week later, I received a brand new palette in the mail. In all my 5 years of getting Ipsy, I've never experienced anything broken before. However, I was very pleased with their customer service!!🤗 )
Now to the actual product!! 😅 It is very powdery with lots of kick back, but the colors are great!! I used all of them to create this look. These colors are right up my alley. And they are pretty pigmented. I dipped into the lightest color for my cheeks and was like... 😳.... woops!! 😂 I really had to do a lot of blending to get it toned down. I also used the other 3 shades on my eyes, creating a beautiful subtle but lovely eye combo. So other than the kickback, it's really good!!
Then, I got a 2 pack of gel pencil eyeliners, that also included a sharpener. They're from the brand Araceli... <--- I can't pronounce that......😅 The 2 brown colors are beautiful on, and a nice change from black. One is a matte chocolate brown and the other is a shimmery cinnamon brown. I actually like using them together. I've been putting the matte brown in my upper waterline, and the shimmer in my lower. They work so well together and go on so easily.
And lastly, I got a lip trio from DR.LIPP. Actually is says that you can apply these on your lips, lids, and cheeks; but I've only used them on my lips. The add a subtle touch of color. They are definitely more of a gloss as opposed to a balm, but either way I really like them. I would say though, the only thing I really didn't like is that they wear off extremely fast! Lol I'm not sure if I ever noticed this with other glosses. And they are small enough to just throw in your bag and take on the go with you!!
So overall I would say that this months bag was awesome. I truly love all the products that came in, and would recommend them to anyone who is looking! I hope y'all have an awesome weekend, and I'll see y'all next week!!

Very interested in the eyeliners. Black is always my go to! But, these two colors look intriguing.
