Testing Out New Beauty Products 💄
Hey y'all what's up?!! Happy Friday!!🤗 I am a little late on this, but sometimes life just happens!😅 However, better late than not at all!! Today I will be sharing my thoughts on new makeup and skincare products. If you've been following along for a lengthy amount of time then you'll know I enjoy trying new beauty products every month, and then telling you what I think about them!!
I have a monthly subscription with Ipsy, which is a makeup / beauty subscription. I'm currently in the mid-tier level, Ipsy Plus. Its $25 a month, and they started to implement you choosing 3 of the item that you'll get in your bag, which is cool, but definitely takes the surprise element out of it. First up is a Glycolic Acid Rejuvenating Face Exfoliator from avant. I would say its not very abrasive at all, like you could use daily and it not do any damage. It has a very strong rose scent, so if you don't like rose scented things or even strong floral scents, you may not like this one. Personally, as long as it doesn't stink, im ok with scented products. Overall, I really like this exfoliator.
Second product in my bag is a Centereach 80 Eye Cream from Pure Heals. I think this is my first time using this brand. The eye cream is ok at best. I haven't noticed any significant changes in my under eye area. (Maybe I need to use it longer to see a difference??....) It smells like eucalyptus, which is refreshing!
Next up is a highlighter palette from Space Case Cosmetics. It's nice, the 1 shade, out of 4, that I could use is a perfect match for my skintone. It's in the first pan, called Nit Rocket Science. I've been using White Sand in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit for going on 2 years now, and its almost completely gone. So this one will take its place for sure! Honestly, I could probably use the darker shades as eyeshadow toppers, but hadn't thought about that til just now!😂
Then we have 2 3-in-1 Lip Sparkle Balm... lol from Girlactik, in the shades Twinkle and Periwinkle. Periwinkle is a bit too space cadet for my taste, but Twinkle is perfect! It put it right at my cupids bow and dab some on the points of my top lip, and it's just beautiful!! It makes my lips appear bigger than they are. Ipsy actually sent me 2 packs of these, so if you're reading this, and you want them, let me know ill ship them out to you!
And lastly we have Spackle Mist / Restore from Laura Gellar. You can use this coconut water spray to Prime, Set, and Refresh your face. I've been using it to set and refresh my face. It does a great job, but im starting to see little tiny bumps pop up around my face, so right now I'm taking a break from it to see how my skin gets after not using it daily. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it's something else, because I really like this spray.
Overall I loved this months Ipsy bag. I think I made out with some great new products to use! I hope y'all enjoyed today's post, and I hope yall have a fantastic weekend!!
