Nordstrom 🛍 Anniversary Sale Picks
Hey y'all! Sooo.... for the past several years I've been shopping the 💛 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Last year was my first time sharing what I wouldn't mind picking up in the sale! And this year I'm going to do it again!!😃🙃😂 Only this year we actually live near a Nordstrom store, so I was able to go in the store to preview the items on my "wish list".
Not gonna lie, I was kinda geeking out a bit 🤓 but the experience was better than I thought it would be. Since I'm "Influencer" status, the sales associates let me inside the yellow tape!💛
They gave me a personal shopper to help with the process, and she was just so wonderful to work with. I showed her my list of sale items that I had saved online, and she helped me find exactly what I was looking for!
Below you will see photos of the items that were in my local store, which weren't very many... So I'm going to have to be super quick to place my online order come Saturday morning!😱😂 I've actually noticed that several of my picks have already sold out..
SHOES: I loved the Steve Madden Platform Mary Jane's, but I thought the heel might be too high for my flat feet. So I added the Sam Edelman version because it was similar and had a shorter heel height. Unfortunately, my store didn't have them or the Ted Baker sneakers. I was able to try on both Converse though. They were the most cushy shoe! I really like the high top version, it looked so cool on! Which would you go for?!
TOPS: Y'all are about to see just how plain my style is!😅 With this sale I really try to focus on adding and/or replacing basics that I regularly wear. I think it's really important to keep a good basic foundation in my closet, and then build around that. Aside from that, I did see a few tops that are more dressy that I could mix & match with pants / skirts. I tried to steer clear of the thick heavy sweaters, since I probably wouldn't get much use out of them. The NSYNC T-Shirt is one of the items already sold out..😭 But I LOVED the asymmetrical neck top from Reiss; it fit so well!

BOTTOMS: Jeans & trousers are always so difficult to order online. And where I was hoping to try them on in the store, they only had a the wide leg faux leather pants. And they only had the black version not the brown. I tried on the black for a size reference, and was not expecting to like them as much as I did!!😃 I'm 5'5 wearing a size medium, and the length is perfection!

DRESS-WEAR: I didn't see a ton of dresses that I loved online, but this jumpsuit!! 😍 In the store they didn't have a 6 or 8, so my sales associate had me try on a size 4...😳😅 I was like... I'm not a 4!!😂 I tried it anyway and it would not zip up the back... this, I already knew, was going to happen!! HOWEVER, it still looked amazing from the front! I'm going to try my hardest to snatch this up (in my size!!) come Saturday morning! I really wanted to try on the skirt, but they didn't have it. I found 2 dresses that I liked online, but they only had 1 in store. The white dress was nice, but the quality wasn't there for the price... even on sale.
OUTERWEAR: I'm slightly obsessed with jackets, but being in an area that's summer temps 6 months out of the year, I really had to make conscious decisions on outerwear!! Out of the few that I had on my list, only 1 was available in store to try on! The Blazer is now sold out..💔
Since the sale doesn't start til tommorrow, (July 9th), my sales associate put back a few of the items that I tried on. The other items that my store didn't have, I'll have to order online with hopes that they're still available.
