👗 Short Term Essentials
As most of you know, we have moved from Alabama to Florida a little over a month ago. Going into this move we knew that the majority of our belongings were going into storage for an undetermined amount of time, (until we buy a house basically...) So I had to create a list of certain things that I knew I would need with me and not let them sit in a storage unit somewhere in Florida...
1. Dresses/Dress Clothes We do go to church on Sunday mornings, so I knew I definitely needed a good choice of "church outfits". Most Sundays I wear dresses, but sometimes I'll go with separates like a top with pants/skirt. Other than church, I enjoy wearing dresses in the summer because they are so comfortable and they keep you cool on the super hot days. So with knowing all this, I made it a point to pack all the dresses!😂 dressy-dresses and day-to-day dresses. I also brought my wide leg white pants along with several solid tops. I brought 2 pair of strappy heels; black & nude. Then 2 pair of casual/dressy flat sandals; nude & white.
2. Bags. A couple cute bags because a girl needs options!!😅 Seriously though, I packed all of my designer bags and a few others that I wear on a day to day basis. Yall know I've had a love affair with my Kate Spade backpack for the past 4 or 5 years, so that was a no brainer.
3. Beachwear. Considering that we literally moved to a beach town, I had to pack all my beachwear. Including, but not limited to.... swimsuits, wraps, cover-ups, kimonos, flip-flops, beach bag, sunnies, and at least 1 wide brim hat! Like I said, the essentials!!
If you ever end up in this situation, what would be your "short term essentials"? So far, I think I've covered all my bases! I hope y'all have a fantastic holiday weekend!! 🇺🇸
