The Waiting

It's been about 8 months since Stephen and I stepped into a season of transition. We haven't really planted ourselves anywhere. We're allowing ourselves to be led by Holy Spirit, rollin with Jesus, and basically just going with the flow.  As "unstable" as it is, we're really enjoying not being bound down to a specific people group.

During this time we've had lots of things spoken over us, some would bear witness with our spirit-man and we would receive them. Then others were way off and we would have to rebuke those and cast them out.  As we get older and our walk with Jesus gets closer and closer, we've learned to discern what's from God and what's... well... not.

Back in February, our Apostle, Joe Joe and wife Autumn, were telling us a word that God had given them, for us:

"Hang tight, God is positioning you to impact the darkness and the Kingdom. You're like a battleship being positioned for battle. Battleships are huge and take time to maneuver. So hang in there He's got this"

Over Memorial Day Weekend, our little family went on vacation to Fort Walton Beach, FL. When we visit there, we will travel about 40 minutes to attend The Summit Church in Crestview. During praise and worship on Wednesday night, Apostle Chris began speaking to us and our kids. And everything he was saying was speaking straight to our hearts.

"God is removing a mantle that He had put there.  And replacing it with a new mantle, that we would begin to walk in. There are big decisions to be made, and God will reveal the answers in the next 7 days. Six months from now, you will be in a completely different place. You are revival minded people, because God has given you a revivalists heart. And you won't settle for for anything else."

When you put together what Apostle Joe Joe and Apostle Chris said,  wheewww... Its scary, but it's exciting! And that's how we know that it's God.

God will give you tidbits of what's coming, but not the whole thing. "He wants your yes", as Autumn would say!! He has our yes, now we have to have faith and be patient with expectation while we wait.

I really hope this encouraged someone. No matter how long you're in the transition season, or the wilderness season, God is working things out for your good. He has a specific plan for each of  His children. It's your job to find out what He's got for you.

(Here's the song that popped in my head while I was typing this out!!)
